Your theory about the split dosnt add up. Why would he not accept 500k more from the actual champ and instead fight Golovkin a non champion for a vacant tittle and not negotiate a 50/50 split with Golovkins 20 million? Essentially your saying that he wanted 35 percent of Canelos 35 million (12.25 million)but ended up settling for 25 percent of Golovkins purse when he was actually entitled to 50 percent of Golovkins 20. Canelo’s last two opponents got twice that amount.

GGG got $14 million for fighting Steve Rolls.

Mikey Garcia got $7 million for fighting Jessie Vargas.

Luis Ortiz got $7 million for fighting Deontay Wilder.

Jacobs is a former IBF champion. I didn’t count his WBA regular belt.

Well 155 is not the same as 147 and 159 is also not 147. You said Canelo and Cotto fought at 147 in 2014. Neither of them did. Canelo fought twice at 155 and Cotto once at 159.

Second, you can’t make a claim the old fphuck ducked him in 2014 then suddenly change it to 2015 then in 2016, Canelo won the WBC middleweight belt (160) and dumped it so he wouldn’t fight his mandatory, the old fphuck. Why? Well because he wanted to defend a 160 pound belt at 155. So you’re wrong in every turn no matter how you skin it. You can’t call anyone a duck when the the opponent you’re putting high on a pedestal relinquishes the belt at the prime opportunity.

Canelo won MW title in 2015 in his fight against Cotto which took place at 155 (Cotto demand).

The WBC placed a 15-day negotiation period on Canelo GGG fight after the Cotto fight. I've actually never heard of something like that before in boxing. PPV fights take time and 15 days IMMEDIATELY after a fight is just a ****** timeline as fighters go on vacation after fights...not back to work.

And the fight couldve happened but GGG refused a catchweight. GGG offered Rosario a CW at 157, offered Ward a CW at 164, and fought Rolls at CW 164. So GGG DID do CWs but he was refusing for this fight.
