Evander Holyfield felt the changing of the guard in the heavyweight division multiple times, losing his title to Rid**** Bowe, Michael Moorer, Lennox Lewis and John Ruiz. By the time his Hall of Fame career came to an end, he would be boxing's only four-time heavyweight champion of the world.

Anyone seen Wilder at the 2008 Olympics? He actually looked different to this current version of “Just landing the right hand” that we are currently seeing.

      Good point.
Up until the 2nd Stiverne fight, he had the highest jab connect percentage in the heavyweight division & for a brief spell the highest in boxing.
He needs to go back to what got him to the top:
Plenty of jabs & those hooks to the body.
He's got about 4 good years left to win some & lose some.
I think win or lose, Wilder will get respect after the 3rd match.

It's unreal how badly managed and trained Wilder has been. He had height, reach, speed, power ... all the attributes needed to be developed into a great boxer/puncher, a HW Tommy Hearns. But instead of doing that, his team focused on one punch - the long right hand - and feeding him easy victims to knock over.

It was after the second Stiverne fight that Wilder, his team and his fan base started to lose touch with reality. It was also around that time that the false narrative about Wilder being on a mission to unify the HW division was constructed.

Rigged fixed frauds like wilder do not improve by winning 50 rigged fake fights and dives.

The plan was to rig Wilder into a fake couterfeit KO king by winning all fake fights. But the fraud didn't work and the big money never came. The fans realized wilder was a protected fraud and refused to pay to watch rubbish.

This forced haymon (after ducking AJ) to make a deal with Fury who needed money after his two year hiatus. Fury carried the alabama fraud in the first fight. The Arum bought into Fury. Haymon could not buy off Fury in the rematch and we saw the real wilder was nothing but a bum in the disguise of 50 rigged fake fights.

Fraud fake fighters like wilder don't improve. The only way to improve is to face real adversity and to figure out how to overcome a real test. Wilder and his team went for the fixed route, they had no confidence to be a real fighter, to take risks and learn how to overcome adversities.

Haymon and wilder are terrible for the sport and should be boycotted out of the sport and sent to WWF.

YES YES YES. I've been saying this for ages now. He's been really poorly trained. He was a COMPLETELY different fighter. He was at his best in that first Stiverene fight. After that he became obsessed with power and this is why he's been dethroned by a far more complete and skilful boxer.

Didn't know he had busted ear in first fight? Explains bad performance.
But lennox still praised real deal.
                Top 10 for sure

Wilder has just never been a good fighter he’s been managed exceptionally well and this is what allowed him to become hyped as an top three actuve heavy he’s never been that good to be honest povetkin beats everyone in wilders resume bar fury potentially by stoppage as well. He achieved more than he should have based on his poor ability
