I think %10 used to be standard for head trainer. I’m not sure who else gets paid out of that though, if anyone does. The highest paid guys might have different arrangements though. If ur making 30million, u night not be paying ur trainer $3million. That’s more than a lot of other top division champs make. Let’s say a Canelo level fighter gets a new trainer. Might be hard to justify paying him %10 of those massive purses, especially if he was never a part of getting you there.

According to steve Kim reynoso gets the full 10 Robert garcia says he takes 10 and its non negotiable because if he accepts less then all his other fighter will want to renegotiate

I have heard good trainers get 10% of the purse. It probably varies and is what ever the boxer and the trainer agree on.

The standard was always 10%. But, as some fighters start earning 8 or more figures, they typically negotiate something less.

great trainer can end up wealthier than their fighter

Trainer spends all his time in the gym obsessing about boxing

Has no need to be flashy unlike star fighters

I'm sure Don King got about 150% from some of the fighters he promoted.
