You're right I cant have it both ways, but just because Judah made a **** of himself against Baldomir doesn't mean that a fight which was already in the works against Judah should not have happened, especially if you thought he'd be the tougher opponent.Mayweather was going after the no. 1 guy at 147 & Judah ****ed it up. If a fight was already in the works against K, then Spinks beating him might not have changed that. Once I see Spinks step in the ring against Floyd I'll tell you if he's the man at 154, cause guys seem to tighten their game when they step to Floyd.

I agree that the right fight then was still against Zab because Baldomir was thought of as a Carlos Maussa (someone who lucked out into a title) especially considering the fight was all but made before the Baldomir fight (PBF-Zab t-shirts at the fight). Nonetheless I can't say that by beating a Zab that probably would have won easily against Baldomir makes him the man at 147.

I don't know about that. I think Shane kills him and I think Margarito struggles and then KO's him. Bottom line about Zab... great skills... no focus; no chin. Can't get around the chin thing when you're talking about 2 guys who can really punch. Zab got knocked down 3 times by 1 punch at 140 remember.

Probably not but it does say that he fought the best at 147, which is what people are saying he hasn't done since 135, if it wasn't for the Judah fight I'd probably agree.

I wonder how much money is Mayweather getting? Is it over the 8 million, that was offered for him to face Margarito?

But he did avoid the longest reigning title holder... Margarito. I'm not saying Margarito was "the man" at 147, but he was a worthy opponent. Kind of like Floyd at 135 where he clearly was "the man" after beating Castillo but didn't fight the other title holders.

I'm not talking about Judah that's never focused I'm talking about the man who stepped in the ring against Floyd, his speed & accuracy against Floyd would have troubled Mosley, & I don't think Margarito would have gotten himself together to beat Judah. I give Baldomir alot of respect cause he could be hit with a bat and still stand & throw shots.
