The timelime isn't a duck for me. Martinez was done after the Chavez fight. He then went with the easier homecoming option against the English guy (Rivalry), and from there it was evident that he was looking to take sell his belt to the highest bidder, Lou di bella was honest about that, GGG himself is currently doing the same thing, if you accuse Martinez of ducking GGG back then, you would have to accuse GGG of the same chit now.

It's BS. GGG was a nobody who had never even fought in America through the majority of Martinez's run. By the time GGG made a name for himself, Martinez had already torn his ACL vs Murray and rehabbing. He took a money fight vs Miguel Cotto, because who wouldn't? Martinez said that he'd fight GGG after he beat Cotto. Unfortunately his knee injury was too much, resulting in his loss to Cotto.
