I think Canelo would have had much more chance of catching Manny than he did Mayweather though.

Pacquiao had definitely declined by 2013 whilst Mayweather was still close to his best IMO. In some ways I think the older version of Mayweather was tougher to beat than the younger version.

Yeah, at 154 Canelo makes a better showing against Floyd and is too big for Pac but at 152, I gotta go with Pac.

Pacquiao loves to use the high guard as defense and isn’t a pure boxer. That’s a no no, and a Roach wouldn’t allow PAC to take such a fight nor would I want that war on Pacquiao. Unless of course PAC diehards or Canelo haters think PAC could be more successful in such an attempt like Duran vs Hearns...
