Him BEATING Spence would make him and Manny that much bigger. But considering Mikey has been MIA since losing to Spence then expecting people to dish out money to see him and Pacquiao fight? I just don't really see the needle moving for that. I feel Mikey should go back to 140 IF his plan is to become Champ again. Daring to be great is cool but the goal is to ACTUALLY win the fight..not getting pats on the back for trying.

Porter is no measuring stick, he is two time 147 champ. he beats all those "I am not real welterweight" guys. Broner made him come down to 144 and Porter still beat him. Porter is too strong for Mikey, he stops him likely.

That’s probably the biggest money fight and the only fight Mikey can possibly land at 147 right now. Crawford, Danny, Porter, or Thurman, wouldn’t fight Mikey unless it’s an interim big money PPV fight before a title fight. Mikey doesn’t have a belt at 147 so his value or power to command the big fights isn’t there. I think he should go back down in weight. I think the top names at 147 are all belt hunting right now.

How can anybody in the world of boxing justify giving Mikey a shot at Pac?

I think this fight is the best match-up for BOTH fighters! Wouldn't mind seeing Mikey vs. Thurman either. Mikey is 5'6" and Keith is 5'7", so I think it's a 50/50 fight. If Mikey drops down to 140, Mario Barrios has the WBA Regular belt, however Barrios is 5'10". Is that too tall for Mikey? By the way, Josh Taylor is 5'9" and both Postol and Hooker are 5'11" too.

That's kind of my point there. The way I see it if he can hang with Porter then he deserves a shot at Pac but he shouldn't get it just because he's the right size

Mikey didn’t fight to win in his last big fight

And wants a fight with the biggest draw in the division who just came off the best win @ 147 in a long time

                  GTFOH Mikey

Fortunately I don’t think Miley fan base is big enough for manny to do this fight

What honest chance does Mikey have against Pac? Pac is far too fast for him and will hit harder than any other opponent Mikey has had. Mikey is too flat footed and starts off too slow. Pac will start tagging him from the opening round. I have no interest in watching this and prefer that Pac fight someone else and Mikey retire or at least give us a reason to be interested in him.

If Mikey wants some success, not just money, he should fight Taylor, Ramirez or Prograis at 140 or Lomachenko at 135. Pacquiao trashes him to pieces.
