It's a fair point, Morales had was already set for the HOF before he beat Pac. It was the icing on the cake of a great career. Whereas JMM spent his entire career trying get that W and needed to use steroids to finally pull it off. Morales always wanted to face the best so of course he achieved more, JMM turned down the Hamed fight then cried about not getting a shot, turned down the Pac rematch to go lose in Indonesia.

Morales had the close/debated decision over Barrera and gave him a rematch. In his career Pac found 1 bad style matchup (JMM) and gave him 3 rematches. JMM found 3 bad style matchups (Norwood, John, Bradley) and wouldn't rematch any of them, wouldn't rematch Pac once he finally had a W over him. Different mindsets I guess...

True but it was also Pac’s fault (or Arum) for entertaining JMM 3. Without that, JMM would have been forced by GB to fight Morales

Morales gave Manny a boxing lesson in that first fight tho.
        haha no

Morales went 7–5 with manny and was even getting beaten up towards the end

Marquez took round one to warm up then won 9 rounds in a row in fight 3

Where you pull that one from out your azz? No one got dropped in fight 3. Not Marquez. Not manny

Nobody was avoiding Marquez, he had dumb managers. They refused $750,000 to rematch Manny and fought Chris John for $30,000 instead.

I like Morales but sounds like he has something against Marquez for some reason. Maybe he's jealous that Marquez became more popular than him? Idk just sounds bitter

Yes true, Erik. But Pacquiao beat him twice after that. Marquez had Pacquiao's number, for the most part. Very close fights, sure, but Marquez knocked out Pacquiao with one huge right hand in the fourth fight, and that was that.

Only took 40+ rounds to land it.

Erik could fight his a_s off but

Now here he is after all these years bitter and fat as hell. I would be mad too! Drop about 35-40 pounds and maybe you and Marquez and have a senior championship fight.

Well Marquez didn't get stopped in 3rds either. Having said that I gotta hear this from Morales himself, not from that fat guy in the picture who appears to be hes spokesperson these days..

I dont get all noses out of joint, there is nothing between Morales JMM Barrera and Manny as far as fighters go, any of these can beat the other on their night and they did all have nip and tuck battles, they all great fighters with only hype and popularity separating them.
