IF Mike comes back for any real sanctioned fights he will lose to any top 10 guys at curiser or hwavyweight unless he catches someone early . Mike was a front runner type fighter in his prime after the first 4-6 rounds he wasn't that same invincible looking animal . At 53 he's prolly got 2 good rounds in him
I'm telling you Mike Tyson today walks around the 210 area. He's 53 and I guarantee you if he is actually in the same kind of fighting shape as he was in his better professional years, he could be at least 10lbs lighter. So let's say at his smallest professionally he was 215-218 as a 20 year old man. As we all know he was very much a full grown man then and probably would be retaining more muscle at that age than he would be at 53. Also consider he hasn't been active in years on top of living a vegan lifestyle.
If he actually is a solid cut 220 rn then obviously there is no way he could be fighting at cruiser.

Much less a guy who got stopped by Danny Williams and then Mcbride, sitting it out because he admitted "he didn't have it anymore" 15years ago.
David Haye was blown to bits before he got into the ring. David Haye is also a blown up cruiserweight like Bellew who never should have strained his body to hold that kind of mass. He was a one trick poney and his body was literally falling apart by the time they fought

I wish we had state enforced eugenics programs that select for IQ.
Well you did just concoct those sub****** level quotes from your own mind. So what would that make you 70? 80 IQ..maybe?! I mean people, we are talking DUMB.

I guarantee you Mike is walking around at 205-210 right now
I think he could easily make the cruiserweight limit. Taking the perspective of Canelo or Floyd he could take a highly defensive strategy. Sure he doesn’t fit the physical mold of those guys nor has he temperamentally fought like that. However with his excellent form and balance he is showing.. maybe could he compete at cruiserweight and win a title? I mean ffs does anyone really think he isn’t capable of beating someone like Bellew right now? Yes he is on old legs. Yes he probably has 40% of his power from his best years. But you know what? The case I am making is Mike is such an exceptionally trained athlete with such an exceptional level of craft, that I think this truly mentally and physically rejuvenated 50+ year old athlete could come back and make history again at a new division.
Tyson drinks a lot and he smokes cigarettes now. He is not a guy who takes great care of his health today. Toward the end of his career he lost to ordinary average heavyweight McBride and was KOed by low ranked Danny Williams and that was about 16 years ago. Boxers don't get better at age 53. They are just too old to be any where near as good as they were when they were in their physical prime 23 years ago. Tyson does not have a snowball's chance in hell of doing well in either the 200 pound weight class or as a heavyweight. You really need to give up this ****** idea because it has nothing to do with reality. if you like Tyson than enjoy those highlight films of his fights long ago when he was prime. If he fights any top cruiserweight or heavyweight today he gets slaughtered.

Holyfield and danny williams have already called him out. Wonder if they realize they would be "fighting" for free.
Exactly. They're fighting for charity and raising funds. Why has this gone completely over some people's heads?

Compared to Tyson Hayes in hes prime. Tysons knees went all the way back in the Williams fight. He was so exhausted on the pads with Roach and Fenech he was throwing up. Mike himself said how much energy it takes to have a style such as he's. He sat out both the Williams and Mcbride fights 15 years ago. Wheres the fountain of youth coming from?

I've known full well that Tysons intentions are likely exhibition bouts with head gear. Probably against Holyfield. Maybe other by gone fighters in similar age. I'm sure Jones or Toney would be game.
That doesn't really interest me though.
What I'm saying is where there's a will there's a way. Is Mike Tyson at 53 capable of doing something sensational at cruiser?

Well, he once said he could sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating. So, maybe that. Not sure about cruiserweight tho.
