Boxing seems to be a catch 22 sometimes

In boxing, you have three things:
1. Your health;
2. The money;
3. The people you beat.
Have any two of these by the end of career and you are a great fighter. All three is a bliss / exceptional fighter.
All the matchmaking revolves around maximizing one or two of these three things.Comment

I swear the only people who claim GGG is was a hypejob when he was undefeated are people who have an agenda.Not really. But gg g was considered hypejob when unbeaten also, so at least people consistent.
Same with floyd, people think he's a hypejob. It don't take a loss.
As a boxer all you got the power to do is answer as many questions of you as you can, be it fight abroad, rematch your biggest rivals to silence doubters, come back from loss or adversity, create adversity yourself by taking risks more than once or twice, more often than not preferbly.
You do this in your career you will be heading in right direction.
Nobody thinks losses is bad. The most revered boxers all lost. The only people who diss boxers who have been beaten are fans of unbeaten boxers. To just put unbeaten boxers on a pedestal is unrealistic, we are reduced to ottke, marciano, Ricardo lopez, valero, Floyd and Calzaghe and that thai boxer who's name escaped me? We'd be missing all that heavenly glory.
If you were dumb enough to swallow the promotion maybe GGG wasnt the problem but peoples own low ass IQs.
Seriously, instead of watching the damn sport they wanna cling to narratives that they think determines the outcome rather than what happens in the ring.
See GGG/Canelo 1 and 2
Imagine if your star player on your team didnt score. I guess your time instantly loses because the other team "took away" your star player. Is this how it works?
"Oh Canelo won because hypejob GGG couldnt knock him out. Overrated. Overrated power. Only KOs cans"
But seriously no one wanted a part of GGG from 2012-2016 and out of everyone they can only name one guy
Andre Ward
As a guy GGG ducked when Ward couldnt even make 168, previously had declined a fight with GGG in 2013, and GGG was already going in a different direction.
You ever wonder what percentage of people hate GGG because hes white and eastern european and that's it?
I'd bet 99%Comment

A lot of people criticized Marciano's undefeated record. For decades and even today. His fans defend him, his detractors think he's overrated. The difference with Marciano is that he never claimed to be the greatest of all time or the best ever. He was a humble champion.
Any fighter who sticks their head above the crowd to announce to the world they are the best ever, is going to receive a lot of criticism. Floyd opens himself up to this. He invites it with his arrogance and disrespect of other fighters. What would you expect?Comment

because if u are undefeateed u may be seen by some to be ducking or avoiding the toughtest challenges even tho u could make them and when u lose or if u lose then u auto lose a lot of shine and its like, i told u so to the fighters hardcore fans u have gone on and on about the guhy for years and yearsComment

This forum is too ****ing obsessed with fighters over the sport itself, that's why it happens. Everyone attaches their boxing fandom to specific fighters, and that inevitably leads to them doing everything you said.
It's ****ing lame.Comment

An undefeated record sounds great but it don't mean anything if you don't have more information on the opponents the fighter built his record against.
That sounds like common sense but if you read lots of comments on NSB, common sense aint so common.

Give me an example? You can’t! Back in the good days the best fought the best because they wanted to be the best period. Was there ducking yes of course since the beginning of time but floyd made it ok to duck with his bs calculated risks. He never fought the biggest threat he would conveniently wait til chumps like Guerrero or ortrees were champs then he would fight them. But when we had champs like PWill or sexy Sergio to name just a few he was conveniently silent picking on little guys like a JMM and cheating him on the scales. Y’all forget that sh it or using the bulk**** excuse of oh he called me out but other tougher fighters called him out and it’s crickets cause he knew it was a chance he can get an 0 and all his ****** fans just ate it up and still do to this day.
Now fighters like fake Davis, bud Crawford, And others think they can do the same thing and never give us fans the fights we want and deserveComment

This is why I say post Oscar Floyd’s resume is sh it
What did the fighter do after you fought them? That says it all and with the exception of manny and Conelo the others fighters weren’t sh it. They went off into nothing. Oh but but but they were champs and number one yeah ok then what they never made it back to top3 so how good of a win was that? Not good if you ask meComment
