Beating GGG at his prime was a laughable statement. Vanes gave Andrade as much as he could handle at 154. In his most recent bout it took 9 rounds to get a no hoper in Luke keeler out of the ring. Andrade seems like a good guy but it’s hard to take him serious

I believe he more accurately stated that Canelo fought a still dangerous version of ggg but not the prime version. I don't think that's inaccurate in any way. Ggg was waited out. Right now, ggg is even further away from his prime than he was 1-2 yrs ago. His performance vs dervenchenko was pretty clear.

He contradicts himself by saying that Canelo did not fight him in his prime but yet Andrade himself would have fought him 1-2 years ago because then it would have been a worthy and exciting fight even though Canelo fought him 1-2 years ago.........

Get it now? You cannot say Canelo did not fight him in his prime and try to take away from that fight and then claim that if he had fought Ggg in that same time period it would have been an exciting and worthy fight. So it is worthy for Andrade to fight a 36 year old Ggg but not for Canelo?

Gimme a break. Saunders is his “big” name he signed to fight. A dude who has been the weakest link of all middleweight champs of the last 5 years. Off of that we should be saying he wants the hardest fights?

Andrade has been a pro since 2008, 12 years, and not one legit top name. But that everyone else’s fault not his.

nobody said fighting ggg 2 yrs ago wasn't a worthy fight. He was still at the top of the p4p list and hadn't lost a fight. But despite still being a top guyz we all know that Canelo waited him out until he saw a decline. Doesn't mean there wasn't risk involved but he definitely waited to minimize that risk. Not really sure what you're debating as this is common sense. Right now at 38, ggg is more name than substance. Just like Kovalev was, just like mosley was towards the end of his career. Etc.

You could criticize Andrade a few years back for his career decisions. But since he joined DAZN he was promised big fights with Canelo and Golovkin and neither have shown interest in fighting him. Saunders got busted for nasal spray and Charlo doesn't want to migrate over to DAZN for millions. That sounds like avoided to me.

Are you dense? Andrade is all but saying that when Canelo fought GGG that it was not a worthy fight. Andrade is a fool if he thinks he has nothing to learn from a fight against Ggg even at this age. It may be a tough fight for both fighters and if they ever fought I would see Ggg hurt Andrade really bad. Andrade is a smaller version of Jacobs. Too sloppy with his punches and too careless with his defense. You cannot make mistakes against Ggg and Andrade makes too many of them.

a win over ggg even now is still a very good win but hes a bit of a diva and divas are attracted to divas and thats why he only wants canelo now, cashnello that is, i wonder does ggg actually think he can beat canelo?

maybe he thinks ok, first fight canelo was clean probably and i beat him ggg thinks, next fight, canelo tests positive so if he was using something he already got the benefits of it, gets a slap in the **** ban and is ready to ge a few months later and hes onfire this time, maybe ggg thinks canelo is now being tested yr round so cant cheat and wont be as good as he was 2nd fight, who knows, maybe he just wants the retirement cash

All he said was that when canelo fought ggg he wasn't in his prime. This is known to be true.. So what's your point?? ? From that simple comment, you have assumed that he said that ggg wasn't a worthy opponent. The fact that he then said he would've fought ggg a couple of yrs ago isn't hypocritical, it's obvious that he saying that despite being past his prime, he was still a top fighter, which he's further removed from now.

If anyone beat ggg 1-2 yrs ago (as Canelo controversially did), they'd have gotten credit (as Canelo has). If anyone beats ggg now, they'll get minimal credit because they'll say they beat an old man.
