You’re right about that he certainly didn’t look “hungry” in the Khabib fight. My personally opinion is that he should’ve retired from the UFC and hoped for a rematch. The only way was downhill from that point. The fight had to change him that kind of money has been seen by very few people in sports period so I’m not surprised he’s not the same guy. Look how hungry he was in 2014/2015.

Masvidal would be a fun exhibition the trash talk would be something else lol. If I had to put money on it I’d say it’s probably over though. Unless someone in the UFC really comes out with some very impressive knockout wins. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

May is a textbook example of how to have the best possible boxing career, in terms of getting in, getting rich, and getting out with a bunch of money and an extremely good legacy, with health intact.

I don't really like him as a person, but as a boxer he was the epitome that others aspire to.

I'm not say these dudes woulda beaten you, but i'm not saying they would have lost, either. They all would have tested you in a major way, and they were all during your time. Its just a shame for real fans of boxing all the great matchups that never get made because of ego, politics, fear, or business. Either way, u did your thing and much love and respect to u
when was he suppose to fight tito or forrest?? hell when was he suppose to fight Kosta?

His persona began to grow in me in the past few years. One thing is for sure, boxing isn’t the same without him. Respect Champ.

My apologies about Tito. You are correct. However, the others are valid opponents. Hell, i would have even been glad to see Mayweather vs Tim Bradley

You can't fight everyone. People forget how many top fighters Floyd did fight. At the time, everyone thought he was mad to get in with Genaro Hernandez (not ready), Angel Manfredy (one to avoid), Diego Corrales ('a beast'), Castillo, Judah, Augustus, etc

If he had been clever he could've pulled a Calzaghe after the controversial first win over Castillo. Instead he went straight back & beat him cleanly.

Floyd is still healthy because of his skills, not because he had an anyway easy run of opponents.

I don’t want him to come back. He’s the one fighter that never let me down on these forums.Every opposing fan base had to eat their words after a Floyd fight.

Guess you cant please everyone. Tszyu didn’t want the mayweather fight. Mosley my favorite fighter didn’t want the MAYWEATHER fight at lightweight and they weren’t even in the same weight class at the time and Vernon Forrest was long gone when Floyd went to 47. Mayweather got more money to fight Boldimer than that cheat Margarito. I’m glad Margarito didn’t get a chance to change Floyd’s career like he did to cotto by cheating. The only legitimate miss you named was Paul Williams.

But nevertheless Mayweathers championship profile is more impressive than most. Check it out on Rummys corner on YouTube.
