Yea.. I agree... I think deep down he wishes he would've fought those guys too.. Not to mention zab judah and pacman fights came super late.. But atleast he gave me diego corrales and a young canelo.. so all in all.. I can't complain. I don't understand him picking berto over Thurman or brook as a so called last fight.. Then again McGregor?.. Over Spence, Charlo, Andrade and Lara? That put a bad taste in my mouth. He always brag about having a smart team. Saying that he fought fighters at the right time.. yea.. But u lose some glory gaining that 50-0 without facing some of the young lions of the 147 and 154 divisions.. Or atleast he could have gotten undisputed.. Sanctioning fees should be no problem for moneymay.. I mean.. How many titles did he vacant?

Can’t blame him, if McGregor wins a couple more big fights this year the rematch would be huge money but that’s the only guy I can see him facing again. Even though we all know TBE would beat him easy, it’s a huge payday. Impossible to turn down €300 million, crazy money. Plus McGregor is one of the few guys who “gets it” with regards to promotion. He will have all the UFC fans/Mayweather haters convinced he will win the rematch with a couple more wins. Lol. It’s just a question of if he keeps winning.

Apart from that, stay retired champ. I think if one guy dominated the sport after 2015 he might’ve faced him but that hasn’t happened at all. Therefore there’s no need to face any more boxers. He beat all the top fighters over 20 years and only had 4-5 fights that were even competitive. Skill wise he’s the best fighter ever and by far the smartest. Haters are going to hate but numbers don’t lie 50-0 against 25 champions. That speaks for itself. Even the guys with 100 plus fights didn’t beat as many champions as Mayweather and he did it 20 years straight without a loss. That’s why he’s TBE.

For those of you who haven’t watched the full interview you should. It’s actually pretty funny how he breaks it down.
Prime Ali and SRR are TBE. I've also got SRL and Duran ahead as well as

      Floyd is Top 10 though.

        /—/——/

Floyd won his first belt in 1998 at 130Ibs. He wasn’t a superstar then like some of the guys you mention.
Mosley beat Oscar for the WW title in 2000. Floyd was still at 130.

Tito fought Hopkins in 2001 at 160Ibs.
Floyd moved to 140 in 2005. Once again he wasn’t fighting any WW.

In 2006 he moved up to WW after all the guys at 140 refused to fight him (Cotto and Hatton but to Hatton’s credit he fought Tzsyu and won).

Baldomir and Zab were the easiest fights to make because none of them was aligned with a promoter that would not work with Floyd. Besides, Floyd needed belts as leverage.

The only name that makes sense there is Paul Williams but he fought Quintana and lost.
Margarito claims he offered Floyd $8million. At the time Margarito’s biggest payday then was $3million so how in the world could he afford to pay Floyd $8mil?
That fight was never going to happen because of Arum.

All those names you put out were all fighting 3 weight class above Floyd in their prime.

I’d still favor Floyd to beat Margarito and Cotto in 2008 or Manny in 2009 so I don’t lose sleep over it.

Floyd mayweather has shown us that he is the welter weight greatest no doubt, only hsters will denied him that right, no reasonable person will return to risk that beautiful record he had set for himself

Can't believe someone who's in love with money that much. He says he's done but he's shown that retirement doesn't mean much.

He is going to milk who he is, he can fight anyone he chooses to and make more money than anyone in the sport, he is not ****** he can half train and beat these circus acts all day long for massive paydays. he talks about it in a recent interview saying he is done with boxing but he is not done with making money.

I don't really like him as a person, but as a boxer he was the epitome that others aspire to.
That's the difference between you and others. You don't like him, yet you give him nothing but credit and respect for what he has achieved.

                  The others can't differentiate.

Mayweather got more money to fight Boldimer than that cheat Margarito. I’m glad Margarito didn’t get a chance to change Floyd’s career like he did to cotto by cheating. The only legitimate miss you named was Paul Williams.

But nevertheless Mayweathers championship profile is more impressive than most. Check it out on Rummys corner on YouTube.
Rummy is the GOAT of boxing scribes. He should be on tv with the quality of his analysis.

I really enjoyed all those fighters. Still Kostya had to quit vs Ricky. Forrest lost twice to Mayorga. If Titos not retiring he’s moving up in weight. Ud have to create a new time paradox to make any of this work, plus then everyone would b*tch about who he still didn’t fight. Whoever he didn’t fight is supposedly the guy who would surely have beaten him. That’s what an undefeated record gets you. Everyone must imagine sum sweet shot that KOs Floyd in his mythical losses. Even his haters would have a hard time imaging him TKOd.
