Let's break this down. Canelo chose to fight Jacobs to unify at 160 then fought the #2 ranked light heavyweight in the world for a title in his fourth weight class.

GGG had the option to fight Andrade early last year to fast track a fight against Canelo, he chose Steve Rolls instead. Remember when Canelo told him "get a belt" and we'll have a third fight? He clearly meant fight Andrade.

This just proves Canelo really messed GGG up in that 2nd fight. He broke him physically and mentally. GGG is now blatantly ducking Canelo because he knows he's getting sparked out. He's displaying signs of fear. The end is near for the B side diva.

They took a loss on that Kovalev fight and the Fielding fight. Now they need GGG to recover those losses. No other marquee names to fight for a big PPV right now. Charlo is not a PPV attraction and still in hiding, Andrade is also not a PPV attraction.

Charlo will bring in a lot of people because the "hood" backs Charlo (dont know why).

The truth is boxing is still recovering from Floyd's retirement.

Also Golovkin's style has always been one of willing to take shots in order to land shots and he has an extensive amateur career of 395 fights. At 38 years old there has definitely been an accumulative effect so is almost laughable to think that a 30 year Canelo fighting Golovkin now is a credible fight especially after all this Covid crap.
