The ufc has a monopoly of the best talent in the sport with limited cards.

Give the PBC the all of the best boxers and put them only on Fox, then you'll see deep cards every time.

why bball so much confidence in pbc/fox?

Would work if gbp/dazn or tr had all the fighters?

There are only about 1000 pro mma fighters in the world compared to 20000 pro boxers and most of them don't make much money. They also do as they are told if they want to stay in the ufc where the money is. So rich dictator White can order them onto the card for not all that much money. It is a damn exciting sport so any pair of decent mma fighters are likely to put on a damn good fight. they fight their hearts out just to stay in the ufc and get paid. Boxers have many more choices and don't have to fight anyone they don't want to. They can fight a poor fight and still get other fights like broner and Khan.

The vast majority of boxers aren't making good money and are probably not much different than MMA fighters.

The top boxers make more on average than the top MMA fighters but both sports are extremely imbalanced between the top guys pay and the mid-tier.

If UFC fighters ever unionize like NBA, NFL MLB players have, they will get a good share of the UFC's billion plus earnings but of course Dana will fight that.

I was just using them as an example, but the PBC have been known to stack cards. They were doing it more before, but now have to split their fighters on 2 networks.

MMA type shlt gets attention by default.

Boxing is limited to arms and non wrestling tactics.

              Period.

If there was only 1 belt and one organisation, boxing would be masterpiece. Nobody would even watch UFC.

Imagine: world welterweight champion Crawford and contenders Pacquiao, Thurman, Spence, Porter..

It wasn't always that way and it doesn't have to be that way. Boxing fans should demand better undercards.

Because the UFC distributes the pay a lot better.

The main event fighters get paid the most(typically) but not so much where they have to handicap the rest of the card.

If both main event fighters receiver $10M a piece, you're going to get a really ****ty undercard.

You guys haven't been watching the UFC undercards lately. They are full of trash WMMA fights.

It's a great myth that their undercards are great. Myths > Reality.
