Is the AJ/Matchroom fanbase the most casual in boxing?

Seeing as how the vast majority of AJ stans on this forum are massive casuals, it got me thinking, has there ever been a worse fanbase in boxing?

The Klitschko fanbase was pretty annoying, but at least they knew something about boxing.

AJ knocks out a bum and he's automatically a top 10 opponent.

An unranked, fat Ruiz knocks AJ out and he's suddenly this monster punching skilled beast.

They also seem to think that a gym sweeper like Dillian Whyte is a world class HW, and are very quiet about his multiple failed tests, despite constantly attacking Tyson Fury for failing one half a decade ago.

Eddie Hearn/AJ can do no wrong in their eyes, i wonder if they all own Under Armour tracksuits?

They don't know anything about boxing. The majority of them discovered boxing by seeing AJ on the Graham Norton show or something like that. They cannot fathom that there's been an endless list of boxers better than AJ. They will never get it because they will never know what they're talking about. They have no interest. "AJ is da best, end of." There are several of them here. Audley Harrison and Amir Khan had similar fanbases. There was a poster on here who would make 100 page threads about how Audley would smash a prime Lennox Lewis.

All the obsessives are ridiculous, man, there's no good fanboys or haters. All pretty much the same whichever fighter it is they support. It's like they imagine that somehow being fanboys of a better or more popular fighter makes them a better class of fanboy.

S'Like the King's pubic lice declaring themselves louse royalty because they're hanging off the royal nuts.

Ain't picking on one particular fanbase here - all of 'em probably got more genuine fans than obsessives, it's just the fanboys are always thje most vocal - but the obsessives are pretty much mirror images of one another whichever fighter they stapled their ego to or against.

Probably, but thats a result of Matchroom/Eddie promoting very successfully in the last few years. Which has also resulted in UK PPV numbers and live attendances being much better than a decade ago and there being more money in the HW division than there was a decade ago too.

Povetkin has never been considered “one dimensional.”

Parker has never been considered “one dimensional.”

Andy Ruiz is big version of Maidana charging forward, and yes, Maidana has lost several times..

Lewis avenged his loss with Rahman.

In all, AJ has better wins than Fury.

          Why?

Fury's wins over champions Wlad & Wilder is miles better than anything AJ has achieved in his career thus far.

And yes, Wilder is one dimensional, but he's a dangerous mofo, hence why AJ didn't want anything to do with him.

My theory is this, AJ fans don't know how to lose/handle criticism.

The AJ stans thought this man was a god when he was knocking over a few bums, the media were completely up his arse and told them that AJ is the best thing since sliced bread.

Now AJ has been exposed, they just don't know how to handle it. Us Fury & Wilder fans are used to people ****ting on our fighters, casuals have been calling them bums for years now, we're used to it, and know to handle it.

If you dare to say anything slightly negative about AJ, all his gay fans jump on top of you like a sack of bricks lol.

AJ isn't god, he's just another fighter.

Fury couldn’t stop Wlad. Corrie Sanders’ won over Wlad is better than Fury’s win over Wlad or Wilder. It took Fury two tries to beat “one dimensional Wilder.”

You could only site Wlad and Wilder.

What is this mystical criticism? Lol. Exactly what is that AJ fans cant handle? Be specific. Seems like you’re upset that Fury’s only significant wins are a war torn Wlad or Wilder.

Wlad was how old, size differential, war torn? Yet people cry about the smaller Canelo fighting a younger Kovalev compared Wlad. You can’t make this stuff up.

Not really, the Wlad who Fury beat was a far, far better version than the guy who Sanders KO'd. It's common knowledge that Wlad became elite after he got with Emmanuel.

                    Fury has beaten Wilder twice.

Until Joshua actually beats a real champion and not a belt holder, he's not ahead of Fury.

Fury has defeated 2 legitimate champions, Joshua hasn't beaten any.

Anyway, stop changing the subject and keep on topic.
