She gave birth November 2014, and the fight was November 2015. So she was heavily pregnant during his 18 month training camp? He fought Pulev and Jennings after the kid was born, gonna make excuses for those fights too?- he had a heavily pregnant gf through training camp and she gave birth to his First child 4 weeks before the fight.
- she was in a post partum depression clinic after.
Literally wladmir Klitschko just wanted to be at home with his baby....if that was my child I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. After 10 yrs as the main man too ...he's forgiven for not being motivated esp when he's dealing with a guy threatening to pull out of the fight every other hour as fury did.
He just want mentally in the fight.
He needed a break and a rest and got that.
Fury didn't fight the rematch like he should have.
Wilder was a diff person when he boxed AJ...he had nothing to lose and gave it everything he had.
It isn't just the style of fury nullifying wlad, wlad didn't even try to hurt fury at any point before the last round. He was just sleep walking.
I was supporting fury if you think I'm a hater..but it was a close fight. AJ stopped wlad ..a better motivated rested version of wlad.
However I don't think AJ is the same fighter now mentally either. So there is that.Comment

———The real Wlad was never in the ring with Fury. We all saw that fight. When Wlad finally started punching in the final round - that's when Fury decided there would be no rematch. He said he felt sick for weeks afterwards because of the punches Wlad landed in the final rounds
Probably because AJ isn't saying he is the greatest Heavyweight of his era and has already lost to Ruiz in the pros. Not to mention he is fighting much higher level opposition than Fury is. Fury just has an unbeaten record because he doesn't fight anyone good
The real Haye wasn’t in the ring with Wlad. If his toe was ok he would have beaten Wlad.
The real Zab wasn’t in the ring with Cotto.
The real Mosley wasn’t in the ring with Cotto.
The real Khan wasn’t in the ring with Garcia.
The real Hatton wasn’t in the ring with Floyd.
The real Tarver wasn’t in the ring with Hopkins.
The real AJ wasn’t in the ring with Ruiz.
See where I am going with this. We’ve heard that excuse so many times. Boxers have 10 weeks or more to prepare for a fight that pays them millions. No excuses.Comment

———-You don't get it - I don't care if Fury wins or loses against AJ - that by itself doesn't prove anything other than he can beat AJ. Fury gets my respect if he has 2 fights against AJ (win or lose) and then defends the belt (assuming he wins) against a load of top-level fighters like a champion should do. I respect real fighters. Fury could lose twice against AJ and then fight a load of top-10 dudes and he would then get my respect.
Fury is coming up to retirement and has never defended a belt. How can that even happen? His third best win is Derek Chisora. The guy is just a hype-job at the moment.
That’s why I took my time to walk you through Mayweather’s resume at 30 years of age.
Was he a hype job then?
Fury is 30 and has lived up two of the top HW guys. After he beats them, he has about 12 fights to add to his resume.
You are no different from anyone who discredited Mayweather at 30. You just don’t like him. Just say thatComment

Er... look at any other individual sport. The greatest players of all time lose to lower ranked players all the time. Sometimes they totally collapse. Yes they have bad performances. BUT next time they play - they will win or at least perform a hell of a lot better,———

There is one way to know for sure - who wanted the rematch? Wlad wanted it, Fury didn't and ran. Before Wlad accepted the rematch Fury said "He will never take it, he knows I would whoop him again." Seems like he had no confidence in that. Also wasn't Fury on drugs for the Wlad fight?? That result shouldn't even standComment

Fury will retire if he beats AJ. I guarantee it.———-

Why do you keep wanting me to say things that aren't true. I used to be a Fury fan, I watched all his interviews but when it became clear he was lying a lot and avoiding fighting decent fighters - it ruined it. You need an element of truth in there to make him entertaining but he just lies too much and fights too low a quality of opposition. The buildup to the Cunningham figth was a classic for example with Fury's trash talk but all that about him being the greatest HW of his era on the back of beating a couple of good fighters and no one else rings hollow now.
How can you even compare Mayweather's resume to Fury's?? Least Mayweather took on a lot of high ranked fighters pretty much every fight. Mayweather is a very good fighter with the caveat that he didn't often fight the best at their best. But then Fury fought a pre-retirement Wlad while on PEDs...Last edited by Roberto Vasquez; 06-13-2020, 10:21 AM.Comment

Boxing is an individual sport. It’s a one on one challenge. If your toe is broken, don’t fight. If your rotator cuff is torn don’t fight. If you have any injury, don’t fight. It’s that simple.
You are in an even playing field so if you get beat stop making excuses. Accept your loss and move on.
Wladimir got beat. Period.
I am a fan of Wladimir and wouldn’t count him out despite his loss and his age. However, Fury beat him. Fury also beat Wilder, twice.Comment

You cannot guarantee anything. You can speculate and that’s fine but you and I are outsiders looking in. Neither of us can guarantee anything.
Once again, I am not comparing Floyd’s resume to Fury. I am merely comparing where they both were at 30 years of age. A thing a lot of boxing analysts do before forming a conclusion.
Fury at 30 has made more money than Floyd at 30.
Fury at 30 is more famous than Floyd was at 30.
Fury at 30 has a whole country tuning to see him fight than Floyd at 30.
Fury is the top 5 biggest name in boxing at 30. Floyd was not.
Fury only needs to fight and win 10 more fights to be considered an ATG (that’s something debatable).
Now that I’ve clarified that, I’ll say it again, never once did I compare Fury’s career to Floyd’s.
With all those facts behind Fury, is there any doubt that he’s on the way to being one of the highest paid boxers ever?Comment

Well Amir is dumb and wrong as per usual. The brain damage he's dealing with must be insufferable.
FURY has done the record breaking fight- not AJ.
FURY has been in the biggest Heavyweight bout since Lewis/Tyson- not AJ.
FURY was the highest paid boxer over the past year- not AJ. AJ wasn't even second- that was Wilder. AJ was third. AJ DID come in with HALF a million more in TOTAL earnings than Wilder but that was due to Aj having endorsements. In Boxing, both Fury and Wilder have established themselves as the current money men.Comment
