Because the WBC ordered it after the first fight. Simple.Comment

That’s fine but I was responding to the guy that said Fury did not rematch Wilder. It wasn’t up to Fury.
The fight was erroneously declared a draw. Legally or contractually, Fury had no recourse. Thankfully the sanctioning body did that because Wilder would have avoided FuryComment

The real Wlad was never in the ring with Fury. We all saw that fight. When Wlad finally started punching in the final round - that's when Fury decided there would be no rematch. He said he felt sick for weeks afterwards because of the punches Wlad landed in the final rounds
Probably because AJ isn't saying he is the greatest Heavyweight of his era and has already lost to Ruiz in the pros. Not to mention he is fighting much higher level opposition than Fury is. Fury just has an unbeaten record because he doesn't fight anyone goodComment

You don't get it - I don't care if Fury wins or loses against AJ - that by itself doesn't prove anything other than he can beat AJ. Fury gets my respect if he has 2 fights against AJ (win or lose) and then defends the belt (assuming he wins) against a load of top-level fighters like a champion should do. I respect real fighters. Fury could lose twice against AJ and then fight a load of top-10 dudes and he would then get my respect.———-
Nope, it was not two years ago. It was exactly a month ago.
Fury-Wilder rematch was not two years ago, it was less than 6 months ago.
My question is not under the pretext of probabilities.
The link I sent you is about Fury and AJ coming to an agreement on a super fight once Fury destroys the hype Job that is Wilder for the third time.
It seems to be a done deal. So, once again, when (or in your case, you can say “if”), Fury beats AJ, are you going to hold the same sentiments about him?? It’s a really simple question.
You’ve knocked on Fury every which way by saying he hasn’t fought a single top 10 guy except for Wilder. Well, he beat Wilder twice and will beat him again. Next is AJ. What then will your opinion be?
Fury is coming up to retirement and has never defended a belt. How can that even happen? His third best win is Derek Chisora. The guy is just a hype-job at the moment.Last edited by Roberto Vasquez; 06-12-2020, 10:27 AM.Comment

- he had a heavily pregnant gf through training camp and she gave birth to his First child 4 weeks before the fight.
- she was in a post partum depression clinic after.
Literally wladmir Klitschko just wanted to be at home with his baby....if that was my child I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. After 10 yrs as the main man too ...he's forgiven for not being motivated esp when he's dealing with a guy threatening to pull out of the fight every other hour as fury did.
He just want mentally in the fight.
He needed a break and a rest and got that.
Fury didn't fight the rematch like he should have.
Wilder was a diff person when he boxed AJ...he had nothing to lose and gave it everything he had.
It isn't just the style of fury nullifying wlad, wlad didn't even try to hurt fury at any point before the last round. He was just sleep walking.
I was supporting fury if you think I'm a hater..but it was a close fight. AJ stopped wlad ..a better motivated rested version of wlad.
However I don't think AJ is the same fighter now mentally either. So there is that.Comment
