A lot of the backlash is due to the fight not taking place when it should have. Pacquiao had already been ktfo by JMM. When PAC was at his best, Floyd seemed nervous and started making unprecedented demands about drug testing. Casuals not understanding boxing played a part because both Floyd and PAC have their die-hards who just support them no matter what. It is also a known fact that Paulie has some bias/agenda when it comes to Pac.

It's a matter of principle. Floyd did it as a power play. Even if I was clean I wouldn't agree to some extra **** just because Floyd said so. In fact I would refuse just because I'm insulted by the insinuation. If he doesn't think the testing is sufficient in boxing, he shouldn't have been boxing and making ridiculous amounts of money from it.

Exactly...Manny really surprised me by not agreeing to testing in his usual jovial disposition....

Instead, he sues?? For defamation of character?? Isn't character something that needs to be proven?
