There’s a lot of casuals out there who seem to think the sport is called slugging or toe-to-toe brawling rather than boxing and they can’t appreciate a master of the game who knows how to hit and not get hit. Mayweather schooled Pacquiao and made a guy who used to throw 100 punches a round so discouraged that he landed 81 punches in 12 rounds. One of the most masterful performances ever against a guy who people said was the “fighter of the decade” going in. Real boxing fans appreciate Floyd Mayweather but there’s far more casuals out there who really don’t know **** about boxing.

before that fight I asked a lot of people how they thought 5'5 Pac was going to close the distance once Mayweather established the perimeter... he was always going to be controlled on the outside, and aint a great inside fighter anyway
