Definitely different, I was more eluding to the young age of both boxers. Sometimes when you start early on then you get out of the game early, more like Naz who didn’t fight after he was 28/29 years old.

There was no shame is losing to Floyd although I thought Canelo was nowhere near ready. I feel the same about Teofimo Lopez. As a fan, I want to see this fight sooner than later. If I was in his camp though, I’d stay away form Loma for another year or two to get some more experience. In either case, I agree with you. If Lopez truly believed in himself and his craft, a crowd would be irrelevant and he would fight him now. I can only imagine the level of focus needed to fight someone without crowd influence (claps, cheers, boos, etc.). I think it poses a greater mental challenge for him without a crowd and that’s playing into his psyche.

If you won't fight him without a crowd then of course he'll fight someone else.

It makes some sense for Lopez to stall because he should still be improving at his age whereas Loma may have peaked. It depends on how important his 0 is to him. It's a calculated risk. He hasn't got much to lose imo because he's so young and Loma is a freak. Losing to Floyd didn't hurt Canelo too much. What he learnt in the fight was probably worth it. We need to get rid of this fixation on unbeaten records imo. Most of the greatest boxers of all time lost fights.
