I'll tell you who isn't laughing and that is Salido who turned down over a half million dollars for the Loma rematch knowing he would get knocked out and instead got knocked out by Miguel Roman for peanuts by comparison.

Well if Loma and his team want a tune up they will get it.
Loma and Papachenko know exactly what they need to do.

Lopez can just wait for Loma then. What's the problem?

First, Lopez says he won't fight Loma for who knows how much time. Then he doesn't like Loma will fight a tune-up with someone else.

Lopez wants OUT of the fight!

Loma has other dance partners. If Teofimo wants to wait, let him wait. Who knows. Big crowds might not come back at all, together with handshakes, hugs and kisses.

Did y'all listen to the podcast with Lopez? He's moving from NY to small-town Arkansas. He sounded pretty down on the sport, like he wants to be a regular guy. I feel like he's going to retire after his first defeat.

Lomachenko last fought in August 2019, Lopez fought in December 2019. We don’t know when boxing would be back. It might make sense to take a tune up, but with that happened recently it might make sense to just go straight with it.

He has been sounding like that since he got married or hooked up with his miss, that’s what marriage does to you. His family life needs to be attended to or he needs to work out how to balance it. Because it seems like it would affect his boxing career.

Lomachenko beat the dirty Mexican **** puncher. Loma clearly out-boxed Salido, landed way better combinations and had Salido hurt and holding on for 2 rounds.

I think Loma vs Lopez fight is gonna be a lot like Mayweather vs Canelo not style wise, but in a sense as a lesson. Lopez will get schooled but learn from it and come back harder and smarter after his defeat.

He's been giving off that vibe for a little while now. He seemed to enjoy the non-boxing aspect of life with his wife and then there was the rift with his family. Fights Nakatani and when there's some adversity complains about fighting tall guys. He seemed hesitant to fight Commey but when he actually gets in the ring, he blasts him out in 2.

Now the preference for no tune-up and a direct fight with Loma in front of the crowd.

The skills are there and I don't think he's avoiding opponents so much as he has hesitation to step in the ring (and by that I mean everything surrounding the fight). Once he gets in there, it's on. Sounds like he's trying to maximize the payout on the Lomachenko fight for the minimal amount of time fighting or fight prep.
