Great perspective. I would agree if this was a brand like AJ but we are talking about a Kell Brook that is far from prime or glory. His last three opponents weren’t proven or recognizable.

Brook vs Crawford certainly isn’t a big fight here. I also can’t believe Deluca vs Brook was the financial success that Porter vs Spence was?

In one breath that side of the street is saying Porter and Garcia brought in the numbers for Spence. Now when Porter is the opponent they are worried about whether Porter would be worth the investment. Huh?

In addition, given the Covid crisis one of the most important financial benefits of the UK is the Stadium. That’s not happening for obvious reasons so it makes sense to have two domestic fighters.

My guess is just as many UK boxing heads would tune in for Porter vs Crawford because they are both Dogs in their prime and it would be a great war.

If not the US and hardcore boxing fans from everywhere would definitely make up the difference. Porter vs Crawford would be absolutely talked about because Spence just fought a close fight with Porter and Spence Vs Crawford is already in the public diaspora.

Cool. Then why don't Porter and the PBC make an offer? They pushing for this more than Crawford is so come in with an offer. No good just standing there with their hands out waiting. Be proactive. Put an offer together. What they waiting for?
PBC operates old-school. Offers are made in private, but the public will hear nothing until a fight is made or very close to being made ... unlike some modern outfits that are talking to the press about every "potential" offer ... trying to gain negotiating leverage. "Silence before a fight is made" is honorable and the way pros used to do business. No different than how corporations set up mergers and whatnot. Now it's all about trashing the competition ... and boasting. It's sad and unproductive, usually ensuring that setting up a fight will be very difficult.

Although I agree Porter could get a “WBO” title,

Crawford gets a real Dance Partner (he has none at 147) and the ticket to making Crawford vs Spence a huge Dance? Who has more to gain Crawford of Porter? Porter could fight a rematch with Kell Brook or Ugas and do just as well financially?

Better still, let's get the PBC champs out to play. Let's get some UNIFICATION taking place. We just had Spence vs Porter and Paquiao vs Thurman... wtf is your issue with PBC unifications? Spence may be fighting Pacquiao?

What is it that the PBC hate about unifying belts?
The hate appears to be yours because you aren’t recognizing that the best fighters have been fighting the best on the PBC side. Crawford fought Mean Machine...

Yet some how in your world a unification only counts if the power holder ignores his strength in position and crosses the street to fight the leverage less and unknown? You sound biased today bro. Just saying.

Ugas/Crawford is a good fight. It would help Crawford's resume and firmly establish his WW credentials almost as much as a Porter fight. I'd want to see it.

They the ones calling for the fight while ignoring UNIFIED options. So make an offer. Pay up.
That's simple, because if they paid for it they would want control of everything. Arum isn't going to rent out his fighter to another promoter or network, especially when he is beholden to ESPN to give them Crawford's fights

              What in the ****?

Like Crawford's recent fights are best sellers compared to a Porter fight? Promoters say the dumbest **** sometimes. Crawford fighting Porter would be the most interesting fight of his career, it would have plenty of interest. I'd have more respect if he just admitted it is all about control.

Your **** on there mate, AruM is greedy as hell. Why not lower your price ?, You still make a profit, just not the outrageous profit his greedy ***ISH ASS WANTS to make on every fight he promotes.

So...is Porter willing to fight on ESPN or what?
Why is there no answer to this question?

If Porter is not a viable option for Arum, who else is there for TC?
