Typical Canelo haters on the EE ****.

Might as well eliminate some of PAC’s title fights.

Rigo never got his 124lbs catchweight against Loma in the haydays post Donaire. He had to go to 130lbs and Loma agreed to a 10lb next morning limit, again, same concept as an IBF rule.

But when Canelo goes to 175lbs and also imposes a 10lb morning rule, just like when Beterbiev would have to follow IBF protocol, the Canelo haters are either non understanding or intentionally creating fake narratives.

How is it that the same legendary posters whom have always been GGG diehards bring up Khan when Gennadiy had Brook go to 160? These same dumb posters include “catchweight” in their sentence when mentioning Khan when realistically they should only be citing that Canelo shouldn’t have fought Khan. Lol. The 155 catchweight was fair. As if Canelo would prefer to sacrifice 5lbs instead of the limit of 160 like GGG.

It’s obvious some posters don’t box.

Catchweights suck and I'm not singling out any fighter in particular. The smaller guy should just admit that he doesn't want to fight the big scary man!

How are Loma and Kovalev different situations? They both acknowledged morning limit for guys moving up to their class. Like I said, “EE heavy duty fanboyism.” I mean I guess it gotta exist doe. Can’t believe daggum got confused with Kovalev vs Canelo and Loma vs Rigo. They hate to acknowledge this because it discredits Loma’s win over Rigo. Kovalev was supposed to beat Canelo as Loma did to Rigo

Salty over what and whom exactly?

Repeatedly defending a 160lb title at 155lb is disgraceful no matter who is doing it.

Baldomir was a secondary title fight with a Catchweight
Hatton was a title fight with a Catchweight
Cotto was a title fight with a Catchweight
Khan was a title fights with a catchweight.
Jacobs was a title fight with a hydration clause
Fielding was a title fight with a hydration clause.
Kovalev was a title fight with a hydration clause.

Seems like there were a couple...

Then a ****ing C fighter like Chavez Jr gets a catch weight

Not a fan, especially not for title fights. Can maybe see the valure if there's a must see non title fight between guys in different divisions, but even then my inclination is against.

Bad. Boxing has 17 weight classes now, there's really no need for catchweights.
