    2. This is really weird to hold it against someone that they are always favored. DO you do this in other sports?

For example-is Lewis Hamilton not great because he is expected to win every F1 race? Were the 72-10 Bulls not the best because they were favored to beat everyone? What about the Brazilian soccer teams with Pele? The 27 Yankees? The great Montreal Canadians hockey Teams? The 85 Bears? UConn's women's Hoops? Kareem's UCLA teams? Cael Sanderson in NCAA wrestling? Serena? Simeone Biles?

Floyd is literally the only athlete/team you and others hold dominance and not losing against. In every other sport winning and being the clear favorite over other professionals is a sign of greatness and a something that earns respect.
...except he wasn’t the underdog vs corrales. I feel like we went through this before. When they entered the ring, Floyd was a slight favourite. Outside that, it was pretty well a pick em fight.

    • His resume is stellar. Unfortunately, he's ruining it with his silly exhibition fights.

No other fighter I can think of gets so much acclaim for doing nothing impressive during his WW career.

May doesn't have such a gap of pitifullness.

Any HONEST FIGHT Fan can tell you Pac has been pure bum beating or clause forcing. Fighting the worst versions of guys.
        who are those "some"?

floyd fighting past prime fighters but still looks good to your eyes floyd boys...

5 div champ is better than 8 div champ? you must be constantly trolling.

Yes we did and I'm sure Corrales was a slight favorite.

The larger point I'm making is its weird to see people hold it against Floyd that he was favored to win his fights. He wasn't favored because his opponents were trash but because he was great. The only way he wouldn't have been favored to win is if he fought someone much bigger than him because he was too small for that weight class.

He was favorited even when his opponents were much larger than him. Truly an ATG.

Like I said before, it’s not like you can’t look it up. I think the point is, other atg fighters were fortunate enough to have those type of fights, and that’s what Floyd lacks on his resume in comparison.

Its not lacking it either has or hasnt it stands anyway as it doesnt matter in the big picture hanging on a single fight or two, its their entire body of work that defines them , 20 yrs at the top cannot be written off in a sentence, where not talking about Campo telling his kids how he knocked out Manny , its not about one or two fights its all of their work combined that matters.

A resume is defined by the best wins and in what context, at the end of the day. A great body of work is well and good, but if fighter A wasn’t tested to the same degree as fighter B, how do you compare the two? It has to come down to best wins.
