Honestly. I’d have to find a fighter that fights similar to Armstrong to make a more accurate guess for Pacquiao. Might have to revisit Sanchez. With Mayweather we’ve seen a few, so it’s easier to see how it’d go. Plus Pacquiao is southpaw. Not many southpaw’s around then.

As I always say, I give loma a lot of credit for pulling out that Linares fight because it took heart toughness and showed that he has some dog in him. He’s not as skilled or as smart as the hype though. A fighter as smart and skilled as loma is supposed to be doesn’t get hit 200 times by Linares. He doesn’t get dropped by the punch that Linares put him down with either. The super lightweight and lightweight version of Floyd stops current version of loma. He’s too small and too available to be hit.

I’d rather envision it in Armstrongs time. Who know’s how much bigger and devastating Armstrong would be after being exposed to today’s nutrition and steroids. I’d favor Pacquiao to beat Armstrong in a late TKO and Armstrong to beat Mayweather with a possible TKO Anywhere from 13-15.

Interesting. But the point of my argument is how different fighters of today are. On top of their superior athleticism in comparison to their size, that includes their nutrition.

You see the difference between welterweights of today and ww's of the past is how fast they can move for their size. How much more athletic they are. The difference between HW's of today vs HW's of the past is how big they in comparison to how well they can move. That goes back to my Ali analogy and his success as a bigger, taller, but athletic HW of his time.

Look at past prime, 37 year old, 148lb, Mayweather vs the heavier, younger 165lb Marcos Maidana. Maidana swarmed Mayweather and was very successful in some parts in the first fight. Armstrong would be 1000% more successful because he's smaller and from the black and white era.

Also, Armstrong was only stopped twice in 22 losses. Mayweather was almost stopped a handful of times in 50 fights. Augustus, Mosley, Corley, Judah, almost knocked out Mayweather cold.

And while Armstrong lost only 22 times, Mayweather almost lost once to Jose Luis Castillo and we all know that should have been a loss. If 138lb Mayweather struggled with 147lb Castillo at 135lbs, then he won't survive 1 round with same day weigh in's and no such thing as rehydration vs 135lb Armstrong. Could Mayweather even make 135lbs in same day weigh in's? We all know HBO always lied about his real weight to cover up how gigantic Floyd was. floyd has shown he is one of if not the smartest and adaptable fighter in a ring and even had this at a young age....also consider floyd is taller, faster, has the reach speed and power



loma is no pressure fighter and makes wasted movements and foot moves......he'd have success until about round 4 when mayweather has his time and distance down
