NO it’s not just that, that’s only a part of it. I knew you were a fraud on this forum, LOL!!!

Pound for pound is a ranking of who the better fighters are relative to their weight class. A lot of fighters can not compete directly with each other due to weight class so P4P is based on a “range” of criteria including "quality of opposition", other factors such as “how exciting the fighter is” or “how famous they are” or “who would win if they were the same size.” Other criteria are quality of victories, ring achievements, and ability, regardless of weight class.

I said based on both of their skill sets individually, Floyd has never fought anyone on his resume, in their prime, like Spence with HIS “overall” skill set. And no one can convince me otherwise.
If he never fought anyone in their prime lets establish when Floyd was in prime so we looking from the same perspective and time frame, when was Floyds prime ?

Saying a guy didnt beat a guy in prime when he himself was not in prime is a paradox.

I'm a fraud yet you roll out the well worn cliche ''skill set'' as if that sheet applies

        • Mike Tyson had a skill set until a real opponent punched him back.

But I didn’t just say that. I said Floyd NEVER fought anyone in THEIR PRIME, that was on the same level in overall skill as Spence. And since the article asked Spence if he could beat a prime Floyd, we must assume they are fighting in the same weight class. So AGAIN, who did Floyd beat on a comparable level to Spence at welterweight? That is what the original article was about and the question they asked Spence on the podcast.

                • He really wouldn't. There is an argument that Porter beat him, Mayweather would take Spence apart.

On a comparable level as Spence, Floyd beat better ( Proven) than Spence.

Errol is potensial he is unproven for the minute.

Im not sure why you put so much emphasis on prime, when the very top guys have a prime that lasts many years, its not about prime its how good you were when a fight happened.

Prime is not a single night or year, well it is really for the average but not the elite, they prime for most of their career.
