Boxing is no different than other sports, they shouldn't try to be stubborn and have "crowd-less" fights. The fans are being very careless and stubborn right now.

Lol, fights with no crowds. Fans need to get a grip. I want to watch boxing so badly, I want the baseball season to start. But I understand if fighters don't want to fight without a crowd, or if team owners got together and say they can't start the season if fans can't attend.
Doesn't seem to be an issue for UFC. Where there's a will there's a way.

So if all sports became television spectator only events for a year Teo ain't fighting for a year, Loma or anyone else? Fair play if that's how he feels if that were to happen. Obviously unlikely but who knows.

I'd just argue weird ass situations like the one we are in require one to bend on what they normally do is my only angle.

That said it was silly to even bring up that angle up or comment that it was a deal breaker for him cuz it's unlikely that any promoter or venue would wanna put on such a interesting fight without a crowd so he coulda just passed that buck onto the promoter/venue instead of making himself look bad.
It's a ****** excuse. He fought in the Ams so he's fought in front of nobody in the past. He just wants out of the damn fight.

You believe Lopez then? The definition of a fighter who has an excuse for everything?

So everyone should stop pointing fingers, you know damn well the pandemic got everything f/cked. It’s neither Lopez, Lomachenko or Arum’s doing. Everything is f/cked up.
Because it's their ****ing job and they're getting paid millions to do so.

This isn't new. Anyone who fought in the Amateurs has fought in front of no crowd.

They're saying they won't likely allow crowds for concerts or sports for a very long time due to the virus.

So anyone who refuses to fight without a crowd should be stripped.

I believe him. Lomachenko not wanting to fight in NYC sounds too specific to be made up.

Someone told Teofimo that. It would be interesting to find out who exactly it was.

He was hollering for the fight last year precisely because he can't make the weight much longer.

That is why I've been predicting that this fight will never happen now.

Even though Loma's already fought in NYC four times?
