Pretty sure Whyte has earned over a million a few times, apparently earned over 1 million pound ($1.2M USD) against Parker before PPV.

Its called telling the truth, there should be more of it. Whyte said $5M, Ruiz said there was no offer, Hearn cleared the air, there was an offer, it was $4M, or so it seems.

To think that Ruiz is worth anyway near $13M now is ludicrous, that was vs Joshua money with the belts, I doubt he would get much over $4M against Fury or Wilder TBH.

Looks like Whyte got caught exaggerating the offer by 20%, but also seems Ruiz got caught initially saying there was no offer when there was and more importantly turning down the fight.

I see it exactly the same as you. Thing is that I don't blame Ruiz for turning it down; he needs to get his head on straight and get back into a fighter's mindset before he gets back in the ring with any serious opponent. I just wish he was a little more honest with himself and others about it.

Ruiz is coming from a 12 -0 loss in rounds, showing nothing in his last fight. No way he gets a pay day against Whyte next.

Ruiz should fight Ortiz next, or Parker. Parker has done nothing but beating some bums since losing against Whyte.

That’s what this all come down to for me too. I don’t blame Ruiz at all for turning it down. He is at a career crossroad due to a change of trainer. He would need to find the right trainer and take a tune up fight with that trainer. But I don’t think Ruiz was denying ever receiving an offer from Whyte, I think his words were “There was NO 5m offer”. I know he could have said we received a 4m offer but NO 5m offer, unless he too wasn’t informed about the 4m, like Ortiz wasn’t informed about the 6m or 7m that was offered to him by Team Joshua.

Whyte has been earning over 3million pounds for at least 5 fights now. He has been on PPV on his own name for at least 3 fights (Chisora rematch, Parker, Rivas) that I can remember.

I can't find Whytes actual purses, but Parker got 13 mil to fight AJ, Ruiz got 13 mil, Hearn offered Miller 6 mil. He never offered Whyte anything close. Hearn isn't really siding with Andy, he's letting Whyte know, he's not paying him 5 mil, 4 mil, no mil sounds right.

Dillian has no supporters & should get peanuts compared to Ruiz !

Parler was a world champ when he fought Joshua, Ruis was a defending world champ in a rematch. A big difference. Whyte was never a world champ, he was not even in a title fight.

Whyte didn't lie. He obviously thought it was 5 million.

However Hearn has now said to offer 5 million - so Ruiz had better accept now or have a honest reason not to take the fight

Andy got 5 mil for the first fight, he wasn't champ or undefeated, Same for Pulev. Miller got a 6 mil offer. Whyte was undefeated and got KOd in a full stadium for relative peanuts. Hearn could have let him win a title, AJ has plenty of titles, lottery titles, Whyte could have taken Martin if Hearn wanted, made unify money with AJ, if Hearn wanted.
