I had to google Alan Minter. Didn't know he said "'No black man will take my title'" Hagler stopped him in three rounds lol.

"If so, why? Is it generally just more great European amateurs going pro?"
Exactly so, you've had just a glimpse of "eastern europeans" boxers going pro in the 90's like Tszyu and Zhirov and you named them atgs, imagine how many couldn't make it to the pros, Golovkin is a perfect example, they say his bros has had better potential, but it was up to one brother to advance due the to luck of finance
Now you gonna have a champ from "eastern europe" at all divisions besides small "asian" ones

"Manny Robles caught a TOUGH break. Being a boxing trainer is the most THANKLESS job in all of sports. Robles was in line to be Trainer of the Year in 2019. He put together a great game plan and performance to score the 2nd biggest upset in heavyweight history on SHORT NOTICE vs Anthony Joshua. A few months later his fighter gets out of shape and unfocused and he loses his job. What a darn shame!"

This is why I can't and refuse to root for Andy Ruiz. Another man was fired because he's fat, lazy, and full of excuses. I mean even Wilder at least kept his team and all they did was save his life practically.

The only trainer that felt deserved firing recently was John David Jackson when he was on speed dial with Andre Ward playing Kovalov like a fool while getting PAID $$$$ to be a snake.

"Here is a question. If two guys are street fighting, and you stop to watch? And one is black and one is white. You root for the one subconsciously that you relate to the most if you don’t know them or why they are fighting. People will say they don’t but I don’t believe that."

based on the recent... " Pac is top 3 ATG "... nonsense... I expected at least one Pac-question in the breadbag

like we told you... NO, Pacquiao is not greater than Mayweather lol

I wish people in general could stop insulting boxers. To constantly say Ruiz Is fat and lazy and whatever else they throw in is just childish. Ruiz is far from lazy inside that ring on fight night. That was all said before the 1st fight as well.

Ruiz never once blamed Robles and after 2nd fight I thought he had to change trainers as he needs someone he connects better with.

Many were blown away that Fury dropped Ben Davidson after their success and then look how they all claim him a genius now!

I agree! I lost $$$$ betting on Fury with a new trainer the first bat up against a highly ranked boxer...

Robles has a solid plan. Ruiz had other plans. The dude was practically Trainer of the year and then dog sht because they blamed him not Ruiz and you KNOW this
