I keep saying it, forget GGG.

Canelo should just go into the lion’s den and fight Beterbiev. Canelo now in his prime has the best chance. Something that Ward and Stevenson never dared to attempt.

If Canelo does that, I am sure even the most diehard Golovkin fans won't say a word.

A massive risk though... Canelo's a favorite against Golovkin. He won't be (or shouldn't be) a favorite against Beterbiev. And I am not so sure he will make more money against Beterbiev either.

Getting stripped didn't bother Golovkin previously when those Canelo $$ were calling.
I have a feeling that this is Golovkin either:
1. trying to squeeze some additional $$ out of dazn or (more likely);
2. trying to establish "pissing rights" with Alvarez i.e. you wouldn't fight when I wanted to so I'm not fighting when you want to!
Both fit with what appears to be Golovkin's real persona.

TBH it was a kinda baffling move from the start for DAZN, picking up a dude that close to the end of his career... same thing with Braekhus, but I guess most of the prime guys are already locked into contracts.

Honestly though I don't particularly care at this point in time - Golovkin's day is done really, I'd still expect him to give anyone in the division a tough fight, but his chances against Canelo are slim at this point. Whether he fights Canelo next or at the very end of his contract is unlikely to change the outcome IMO, so it more depends on whether Golovkin himself still believes he's got a shot at beating Canelo and on how much DAZN want to sweeten the pot I guess.

Right now I'd rather see GGG vs Andrade than the trilogy fight, or perhaps Jermall or a Derevyanchenko rematch.

In the perfect world, I want Golovkin to test Jermall Charlo for the first time in the middle weight division. I feel Golovkin can get that WBC from Jermall Charlo. But before that, Golovkin need to use his mandatory challenger as tuneup, because he need to lit those engines before a unification fight with Jermall Charlo.

They added content to their library in the form of old fights and "professional" RBR reviews of some fights.

No ads and 24/7 access mobile/tablet/pc in HD of hundreds or thousands of fights. Terrific.

At $8.33 a month DAZN remains a steal. I wouldnt pay 1 penny above $12 though as most fights I want to see can be had on YT although quality is less and ads

2019 industry trolled about GBP vs Canelo Legal. Canelo is rather awkwardly open in public having some grudge against Oscar or was it Reynoso? Basically GBP using Canelo’s pull to expand DAZN Business for the top dogs in Oscar and Hearn.

Boxing fans start to say Canelo doesn’t need GBP.... YET SOMEHOW there are still some fans whom don’t comprehend any of this and blame Canelo regarding this trilogy with GGG.

Canelo then starts to tell media prior to Kovalev that GGG no longer presents a challenge, as if there isn’t any truth in that, with fans favoring Canelo, yet some fans AGAIN blame Canelo for any outcome of a trilogy. Lol

Canelo also says well if there’s a substantial bonus he’ll consider a trilogy but that DAZN needs to sit down with him. Isn’t OBVIOUS DAZN and GBP never mentioned a GGG Trilogy to Canelo for his multi-deal?! Lol. How is this any of Canelo’s fault? This proves why GGG’s fans are h0mpsexual.

Then when Hearn persuades his roster of fighters to prolong negotiations and troll a Canelo fight, just wasting time not accepting offers, Canelo finally decides to do the damn fight because Canelo can’t get paid without any fight, so now the bonus makes sense.

THEN, GGG dips out when industry wrote that GGG was promised a Canelo fight under his own multi deal, different narrative than Canelo’s. GGG, another Matchroom puppet.

This is all Eddie Hearn scared to lose against the GBP portfolio. All because Hearn has a strong conflict of interest with his executive pals at DAZN whom are tight with Sky...
