Wouldn't they feel ****** fighting in the ring without the spectators.
Hell even the referee would feel the same. And between each round the coaches from both sides can sit together and enjoy the fight.

Ahhh man this empty arena thing. I get it. Maybe the big names should hang back, take time, let normality resume.

If they want to give us Boxing but only at home then they should put together some prospect cards for, make a real push on the fighters that havnt yet caught our attention, people that we wouldn't really pay tickets for but will watch from home.

I'm really missing Boxing. I'd happily watch some live Boxing and I'd happily watch a card of good prospects.

Furthermore, there is no way he will be fighting Lom next year because he has been seriously struggling with weight and will not be able to stay at 135 till next year and Lom is not going up to 140. Unless arenas open up to crowds in the next few months, if he holds firm on not fighting without a crowd, the Lom fight will never happen, and as I already stated, he will be shorting his paycheck by the entire amount of a Lom fight. And Arum will have something to say about that. It is what it is.

Point went over your head, you’re wayyy off!

        Loma is the A side.
Teo knows he’s won’t be offered big money to fight him without an audience. If he loses to Loma, there goes his stock.

It’s better he wait to see how things play out first for this year and then see how it goes by next.

You don’t understand the business of boxing pal.
You probably show all your cards at the poker table soon as you get a chance, lol.

I understand obviously it would be better with a crowd but if boxing is your job, you will earn a lot of money and have the chance to unify titles, you should be willing to do your job. He also won't be able to fight anyone else without a crowd or it'll look like he ducked Loma. Who knows how long it will take before mass gatherings are allowed again, he could be inactive for how long? Will they start stripping titles if boxers won't defend their belts in empty arenas? Doesn't sound like a smart career move by Lopez.

Many fighters are motivated by the crowd. I understand this.

If you truly despise a man, accuse him of ducking you and you believe in your skill set and the only way go fight him is in a fan-free environment, then you’d do it. But he’s not confident enough and this is a testament he don’t want it that bad.

There are some boxers who draw their energy from crowds. Wilder, GGG are some of them. Lopez is correct here
