This ^^^^^^ right here could be the reality of things
He and many other fighters might not have any other choice but to fight in empty studios or miss out totallyComment

Point went over your head, you’re wayyy off!
Loma is the A side.
Teo knows he’s won’t be offered big money to fight him without an audience. If he loses to Loma, there goes his stock.
It’s better he wait to see how things play out first for this year and then see how it goes by next.
You don’t understand the business of boxing pal.
You probably show all your cards at the poker table soon as you get a chance, lol.
And losing to Loma means he would still get big fights because he lost to one of the top 3 PFP fighters in the world. If he does not accept the fight, don't expect Arum to not sour on Lopez, ESPECIALLY if Loma wants the fight, Arum wants the fight, and the public wants the fight, regardless of crowd or not.
There is no way in hell Lopez will be comfortable with ANY scenario that leads him into foregoing a huge opportunity fighting Loma, when everyone else would be okay with the fight taking place under whatever circumstances there are. And you clearly missed the fact that Lopez was struggling bad with making 135 in 2019 so there is no way in hell would he be able to make 135 in 2021 which shows you haven't followed Lopez' weight issues. Pull your head out of your a$$.Last edited by richardt; 04-24-2020, 12:43 PM.Comment

Looks like you are another one who doesnt follow the news. Arum and almost every promoter is willing to do studio fights or fights in isolated areas to keep boxing going if Covid is going to cause even longer delays as long as the fights can have the necessary safety measures. I'm pretty sure Arum understands his finances better than you. For the mathematically challenged, less money is more than no money.Comment

Especially if large crowd sporting events are at the back of the list behind non-sports businesses, large and small, restaurants, gaming, salons, churches, and many other businesses that do not have well over five thousand people in one location. Sports in large crowds could be put off till late this year. If Arum and Loma and Lopez are okay with this, then we may see the fight in an arena - but if just one sports event that raises the coronavirus spread then it is back to non-arena sports and maybe even a worst restriction and will happen faster than someone can flip a switch.Comment
