When white posters make the argument "if a white person said..... the reaction would be......" they act as if things are equal. The reason white people, especially white men, have their words assessed differently is due to the many, many years of them not getting any repercussions for not only the racist things they've said, but the racist acts they've committed with impunity and never been punished for.

Posters like DaNuetral specialize in fake outrage. Notice how he goes out of his way to give Merchant every benefit of the doubt. Now if Merchant were a non white media personality on PBC, he wouldn't make any attempt to understand what point is being made nor would he give any benefit of the doubt.

RJJ-94-02=GOAT posts people should leave color out of it. IMO its hard to do that when certain posters clearly only extend the benefit of the doubt or giving people space to explain themselves on the basis of race like DaNuetral has done with Merchant's comments.

This coward a$$ “just leave race out of it” talking point is only used to maintain the status quo. America and western society as a whole is built on white supremacy. There’s no “leaving color out of it” because these societies are built on race and racism.
