I really have no idea what you're even trying to get at man or what your point is...but I like ya so I will try and indulge you here.
Canelo and Cotto started to campaign at MW, not JMW...so those guys coming up to MW, and then expecting GGG to negotiate on weight with them, is not practical...if they were fighting at 154, and wanted GGG to meet them for a big money fight, and GGG turned it down, you would have more of a point.
But when you come up to the man's weight class, and expect the man at that weight class to negotiate on weight with you, it's silly...no serious boxing fan should be co-signing that...it's h.o sh.it.
If you are fighting at MW, and if GGG is the mando for that fight/belt (which he was for Cotto/Canelo winner) then he didn't need to budge on weight...if they didn't want to fight him at 160, he would get the belt...and of course that is what happened.
I can tell you're a pretty smart guy...but your logic is just not really there on a lot of stuff relative to GGG...you kind of miss the forest for the trees...you get so wrapped up in every little thing re GGG that you can't see the obvious picture.
Yes of course Cotto was at his best below MW...but he did fight at MW...he won a belt at MW lol...so there is no doubt about that...when you come up to a weight class, you should be expected to allow your opponent to fight at that weight limit, especially for a belt...just common sense...to go against that is h.o sh.it man.
One could argue GGG should have negotiated on weight with Canelo or Cotto to get a big fight earlier...but in the end, he didn't need to...and tbh I'm glad he didn't...it is always hard to assign proper credit for a fight with a catchweight.
And yes of course 154.2 or whatever would be MW...we all know that.
no son... you are just another ret4rded casual-fan who has clearly never laced em up in his life, but will happily blurt out nonsense anyway... just like the rest
the current boxing divisions are well-documented, and clear
the middleweight limit is 160... the JMW limit is 154
any fight with a weight limit inbetween 154 and 160... is a catchweight
it has been that way ever since the JMW division was invented in the 60's
FACT: nothing you said, prevented Bullshltkin from being a man of his word
here is the proof...
here is Bullshltkin, admitting that he is willing and able to fight at 154...
... just not against Cotto or Canelo...
let... that... sink... in... for... a... minute...

Bro...if you are fighting at a weight class, you have to expect your opponent to fight at the limit of that weight class!!! Common sense man...why are you advocating for catch-weights..we should all hate those when it is within a division!!!!Canelo was the champion... AND he was the star
it looks like you... " forgot "... that fact...
just like how you... " forgot "... all that 154-168 bullshyt
and like how you... " forgot "... that Canelo was only negotiating to get the fight at his preferred weight, and not be disadvantaged... JUST LIKE GOLOVKIN
like I said... you are just another blatant disgusting two-faced fanboyComment
