Don’t see why not. I’ve seen those old fights where you can’t see any of the crowd. Besides the ring everything is black. If you want a crowd, set up loads of screens and face time some people(joking here). PPV will be boosted at the moment, maybe even enough that it balances out the loss of attendance.
Do you welcome the idea of studio fights?

It would help people to have something to watch while being shut in and confined to their homes.
But if they do this then they should seriously invest in having their own private medical staff and mini-hospitals. So that they don't clog up services for everybody else during this pandemic.Comment

blast live orchestra music where the band is playing together from home.
The conductor can pick up or slow down the music according to the action we are seeing in the ring.
Boxing is saved.

I could see lots of novel and creative ideas coming out of studio fights like the use of camera robots, drones, etc. And I think they should still be done in spacious arenas. There's probably be no need to install that huge thing we see on the ceiling.Comment

That's exactly what this thing is doe. It's risky going out of your house.
Just saw this clip of a frontline emergency doctor recording his experiences
on his phone feeling baffled why some people recover and others just mysteriously pass.
And he's talking about his patients in general not just elderly people.Comment

I dunno, I guess it depends on how much it affects corruption.
A studio show begs for fakery and bull****ery. It's just too easy to sell the people a show rather than a fight and I fear it could usher in a new era of fixed fights.Comment
