I was speaking generally. You would take a few losses for some extra dollars that you probably wouldn’t even notice?
After a certain dollar amount your bank account becomes like the temperature below minus 40. It might get colder but it still feels minus 40 because your brain can’t tell the difference beyond that.Comment

He didn’t need them he’s promoting and yes to save embarrassment. Money to him will always be flowing in due to Golden Boy. Floyd needed Oscar more than Oscar needed him he was already at the end of his career. I think he was just passing the torch to Floyd because his dad helped him out. Had Floyd never fought Oscar he doesn’t become the next PPV Star. He would have had to fight Mosley and Pacquaio while they were juicing even though Floyd did it himselfComment

Good post.Oscar was for real, he was an aggressive boxer puncher that went nip and tuck with the very best of his era from 135 to 160..
Oscar is no easy fight for anybody in history his size, on his best night beating anyone his size in history would not surprise me either, elite level fighter.
Oscar gets Alot of shet from the New boxing fans that were too young to watch him in his prime and just know him from GBP , getting annihilated by Pac and his extracurricular activities.
Oscar had the Skills , power , speed and heart of a HOFer.
Anybody trying to come on here saying he took a dive against Hopkins must've never took a liver shot from a boxer in their life.Comment

He was a very skilled fighter but he had a couple of pretty bad habits. As he got older his skills started to degrade and expose those habits more.
His jab really was quite something though. Very few guys could spear their jab out like Oscar. Pretty rare.Comment
