Walker was a great college player as was Bo. They were neck and neck.

But in the pros, Walker was a bust and Bo continued to dominate in the NFL like he did college while also dominating in baseball. Bo played half NFL season's which is crazy for you to even be comparing the two.

Put it like this, Emmit Smith, Barry Sanders, Marcus Allen, etc had nothing on Bo Jackson. Now that's saying something. So for you to come talking about Herschel Walker is crazy. If they couldn't touch him in the NFL, what makes you think Walker could when he did far less?

As far as all around athlete, Walker is definitely up there. But he wasn't Bo Jackson

I just personally think as a all around athlete Herchel Walker, is probably the only guy from the NFL who can compete with Bo Jackson 'They are probably the best two all around athletes to come out of the NFL etc'.

In other words, the NFL was Bo's part time job and he still became an ATG in that arena which was something someone as gifted as Walker couldn't even do full-time.

No doubt Bo was the greater athlete and could've been a HW champ if he set out to do it at an early age

There is more evidence for Herchel Walker succeeding in boxing over Bo Jackson.

I researched it a little walker had years and years of martial arts exp.I was reading about these incredible training that he does every day of his life.People watched videos or witnessed it said he looks like he could still play in the nfl .Amazing athlete can do things at his age that an athlete twenty yours younger couldn’t do.He was forty seven but felt like twenty seven.Both guys he fought were the closest thing to a set up ever.Neither fought again and both had one fight contracts.One guy had 3or 4 wins in bar type circuits.He started martial arts in 08 1st fight in 09 6mos later he fought walker.The second guy was 1-3 But was probably more exp.Walker looked very slow and average beating two guys who would not last vs a street fighter .Two complete set up bums .After these two performances Strikeforce did not want to go on.They gave him a graceful out.

His athleticsm means nothing if he doesn't have the mentality. He'll get hit and even if he has a genetically good chin, he'll freeze/panic and get KTFO in the opening seconds.
