Compared to a version of Amir Khan who almost lost to Sammy Vargas and damn near killed by Carnelo, yes. Porter who was fresh off of a very close decision loss to Spence and Danny Garcia who has knocked out a prime Khan? Definitely fresher than who Crawford has faced.

You can ignore the facts. They won't go away.

      Now, here's Spence:

Come on man. It's not close. Spence is way too accurate for Crawford. All Crawford has is the hope that Spence doesn't hurt him, but as we've seen, Spence CAN hurt you if he chooses to.
Chances are Crawford will make it a boring fight a la postol who is another archetypal boxer-puncher.

Spence might be the biggest puncher at welter but his power breaks down guys who decide to stand and trade. Porter was an anomaly because he’s tough as nails and does good work on the inside as well.

Crawford swings too wide on the inside, so I can see him boxing off the back foot, countering and throwing check hooks off pivots to keep spence at bay.

I feel at welter Crawford is much more durable than when he was rocked by Gamboa in a weight class he was barely making weight. We’ll hopefully get to see it before Crawford hits his mid 30s, not too hopeful though

Yep, that same Danny who lost to Lamont Peterson & Mauricio Herrera, both corruptly robbed, everyone knows that...Porter & Spence compete because they're C & C+ talent level compared to P4P #1 T Crawford...Khan will tell you which beating he received from Danny & Terrance was more severe..everyone seen that as well...

The dude was just dropped by Kavaliauskas and ate jabs all night from Amir Khan. He's there to be hit. That's a problem against Spence who is a HUGE welterweight that can box.

When you're a guy that was giving Floyd Mayweather fits, there's no way he shouldn't be the favorite.

Dude...of course Khan will say Crawford, low blows hurt like hell.

And he tried to toss a low blow on Kavaliauskas in the later rounds but fortunately missed.

Why is No one Mentioning the Results of the Gamboa and Mean Machine fights vs Crawford....
            Truth is....they Both got Stopped....
Spence couldn't Stop Mikey Garcia who was a Lightweight moving up 2 Weight Classes...
Knocking Porter down isn't Nothing New....Broner did the same thing to Porter....
Crawford has Stopped Everybody he Faced since moving up to Welterweight Division....
            Those are the Facts!...

I still say Spence needs some tune up fights after that crash, to see if he's truly unfazed.

Anyone saying either man isn't as good as suggested is silly. They're both great fighters. The only limting factor here is the car crash Spence was in, we're yet to see the effect that has had on him. Let's hope it did nothing severe.

Do you consider DSG a tune up? That's likely his next opponent and he's not going for a true tune up performance. You can argue if that is smart or not, but he truly seems to be only interested in the big fights. I think good chance we get Spence vs Crawford after their next fights. Wildcard, if Crawford goes up to 154 for his next fight, maybe this fight happens at that weight instead of 147. Unlikely though.
