That's a lie. For the right fee, Wilder could fly many fighters down to Alabama to spar with him. That's why his stamina and conditioning is so poor. He doesn't put in any rounds in the gym.

My honest opinion, tells me that Wilder hasn't had a real training camp with multiple fighters involved since he won that WBC title belt five years ago. However, it's his team's fault. They should emphasize on getting him prepared rather than being yes men.

However, if they tell him he what he needs to know they fear they may lose their job.

I hope one of them is an experienced horse trainer... because old Windmill be a one trick poneeeee. The aura of wow! has been well and truly shattered. Kronk Fury beats him 10 times out of 10.

His conditioning has never been anything to worry about. He should have plenty of energy since he does almost absolutely nothing but look to land the right. & ain't nothing any S&C coach can do about those chicken legs. Needs to stop skipping leg day at the gym. They almost collapsed from holding up that body armor he came into ring with. Or so he says......

It is in situations like this? You realize how few boxing trainers there are in the game. Wilder is in need of some serious help, and he is turning to past heavyweight world champions 'Nothing wrong with that, but just goes to show that the old school trainers reigned for a very long time' and nobody has really replaced them etc

Wilder needs to replace his strength and conditioning coach, his conditioning/core stability is pathetic 'Recruit Tom Platz in the camp to build his foundation'.

Note: Wilder is making the right moves, with atleast trying to change afew things etc

This is all very true. Its gonna be hard to find someone to get him back to basics of boxing.
I noticed in the the last training regimen he had he was scuba diving where the first Fury fight it showed him running up hill with a weighted back pack on.
The solution could be simple. He should lean more towards old school training to build stamina and do simple breathing exercises. The boxing world has changed and alot of todays fighters have forgot it's not been that long ago we had 15 round fights and some fighters were making that look easy.

I agree. Deas is an amateur trainer at best. He has no idea what advice to give when his fighter is losing and/or in trouble. He has been riding Wilder's coattails this whole time and banking on the big right hand. That was clear before the Fury rematch in the numerous fights where Wilder was getting woefully outboxed until he got bailed out by his powerful right hand windmill. Once that is made ineffective, it's clear how little Deas has actually taught Wilder about actual boxing skill, strategies and tactics to use to win rounds.

I agree with you which is rare. Problem is, Fury has a much higher boxing IQ and IQ in general than Wilder and thus he was able to absorb what Sugar Hill taught him in one training camp. I have serious reservations about whether Wilder could do the same. He never really had to learn how to box because of his freakish power. Can he do it now? We'll see.

IF and that's a big if Wilder can beat Fury and then Joshua, he's a HOF'er but I highly doubt that happens. No way is Fury or Wilder on the level of Dempsey, Johnson, Louis, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holyfield or Lewis yet. They just haven't achieved enough and it's not all about the wins. If you face elite fighters in your division more than once and you win the rematch after losing the first fight, this shows your character, perseverance, mental acuity and overall resilency. Fury is undoubtedly closer but I think he needs to beat AJ to be considered an ATF.
