How delusional? Wilder is the quintessential definition of a 1 trick pony. Don't get me wrong it's a very good trick but as the old saying goes, 'you can't polish a turd.'

All these excuses just throw glitter on said turd but at the end of the day you're still dealing with a....

I think it's well known that Wilder suffers from a lot of injuries in the past, this is why Joshua and Hearn were really pursing the fight with him. And the reason why he wanted massive money to make an undisputed fight. And at 33/34 it isn't going to get easier.

Tyson broke him physically and mentally. Wilder will never be the same fighter.

How long is this going to take to recover? Is he just going to use it as an excuse for the Fury trilogy?

"I couldn't train my jab the whole camp"
"It didn't have time to heal"

He should just take a step aside deal for the winner of AJ-Fury, he'll still get his money that way and possibly more with more time to prep/heal.

He'll definitely be the same fighter. Zero boxing skill with one decent punch.

It shouldn't be added in. He rarely uses his left anyway.

With that munch punching power there was bound to be brittle hands but he seems to take it to a new level with brittle biceps too. Excellent time to make some adjustments to his ineffective style to a more boxer-puncher style rather than the “get outboxed waiting to land a big right hand” style he invented
That’s not a style he invented there is no boxer going to want to get out boxed and need a k.o to win,who does that ? Ha

On his injuries, well that’s what is done with poor technique, you injure yourself.

His gloves were too heavy, they tore his bicep.
