Nice thread:
Time to up your medication>>> Andre Ward, Floyd Mayweather = House Slave...
Both of them must have taken too many punches to the head. I'm done with them as they're both only interested in being good House ****** for Massa...Last edited by ////; 04-15-2020, 09:16 AM.Comment

Loma didn't need any excuses. He got massive respect for going ahead with the fight and almost winning after Salido ignored the championship weight limit and came in with a massive size/weight advantage.
What was Salido's excuse for doing that?
Was he so scared of losing to a 1 fight novice pro that gave up his world title to get himself an unfair advantage?Last edited by kafkod; 04-15-2020, 09:41 AM.Comment

Even if you say it was Lomachenko's 7th fight or whatever instead of his second, I'd like to see any fighter beat someone like Orlando Salido before they even hit 10 fights. The list of fighters capable of that is extremely slim. Salido was a good ****ing fighter and most fighters at that point in Loma's career are not beating Orlando Salido.
Hell, ATG fighters lost to worse fighters than Salido when they had a lot more experience than Lomachenko did at the time.
It is what it is. Loma took too big a risk too early, he lost, he acquitted himself well in the process by being very competitive. Salido had to get ugly to beat him and Lomachenko damn near got to him late. It's a credit to his career, not some shameful mark to hold against him forever.Comment

Coming in overweight is a legitimate concern. And it was only his second fight. It was actually good for him long term as he had to adjust himself and grow instead of protecting a record and losing in devastating fashion down the line.
Are you implying he would still lose to Salido in his current form?Comment
