You underplay Calzaghe's skillset. He had great punch selection and could easily nullify Froch's long levers on the inside. Too much stamina and too many angles. Froch would continue to bring the heat for the full 12 but would be comfortably outpointed.

I just think Froch’s durability and awkwardness would’ve caused Calzaghe a lot of problems and he would punch himself out with Froch sparking him out with a big right like he did to Groves.
        - -Most honestly think U dummer than Froch who was a great fighter in his own right, but not the way U dragged him down.

Froch is just so hittable and calzaghe throws so much..hed look like lacey by the end of it..but.which version of.froch because argueably froch got better with age, an age when calzaghe was long gone, if they would of fought when it was spoken of froch was defo not good enough. One dimensional. Slow. Yeah he has a good jab against the likes of arthur abraham but really hes not some notorious jabber. Calzaghe is not chinny like groves either, hes like fury..goes down ad recovers instantly and puts a beating on guys..would froch of beaten the bhop that calzaghe did i think.thats a dirty interesting fight.

Calzaghe beat him up for 12 rounds. He 'll probably rearrange his nose for him. Too fast, too skilled and Froch is just too slow to repeatedly catch Calzaghe clean.

Froch may have went about his business in a different way but he sure wasnt a one dimensional fighter.

Froch’s delivery was unique but he had boxing ability. Arthur Abraham and Groves fights are good examples.

You cant be one dimensional and beat all these various styles like Pascal, taylor, kessler, abraham *** there are too many big names to mention!!

Carl froch was more than capable of beating Calzaghe.

Mayweather was a complete fighter and his ring IQ was out of this world. Both had nothing in common.
Never compared their styles to each other. My point was they each have a unique style. Find me another fighter who throws punched like Joe for 12 rounds. It certainly wouldn't be Khan

My point exactly. Froch just too easy to hit, and calzaghe never stops throwing

                    Calzaghe all day long
Froch would have no answer for the southpaw stance

He was in his 40s. He still went on to have a second reign at 175.years after the Calzaghe fight, so he obviously was still a top tier opponent when Joe fought him
