I honestly think Froch would’ve beaten Calzaghe

Froch slowed down the fight, with his Jab 'And then set him up for the right hand which eventually won him the fight' He boxed Groves in the second fight, that was very clear to anybody who witnessed the fight.

If Carl Froch was a one dimensional fighter, he would of not fought Groves the way he did during the second fight etc

Watch the 2nd fight again because I watched it last week. And Groves was outboxing. Even the commentators were saying it before the KO happened.

I just think Froch’s durability and awkwardness would’ve caused Calzaghe a lot of problems and he would punch himself out with Froch sparking him out with a big right like he did to Groves.
I don't know man....I've always given Calzaghe props. Just like Floyd, he has his own unique style that's very hard to replicate, and none of his opponents, not even B-Hop could overcome.

And I think style wise, Calzaghe is all wrong for Froch. Calzaghe would have to deal with a size disadvantage, but Froch was there to be hit. I think Calzaghe would tag the ***** out of him, and Froch would get chopped up by the fights end

Calzaghe would slap (literally) Froch around the ring and win a lopsided unanimous decision. Froch doesn't really have anything in his toolbox to beat Calzaghe.

Calzaghe isn’t Floyd. Calzaghe’s style was more similar to Amir Khan’s style in terms of offensive talent with volume and hand speed (Khan has more power) and both were lacking defensively. Khan would’ve been Welterweight’s Calzaghe if he had a chin and heart.

Mayweather was a complete fighter and his ring IQ was out of this world. Both had nothing in common.

He didn’t slap Bika and Kessler. What makes you think he’ll slap Froch?

Froch is durable and he hits hard. I swear even old Hopkins dropped Calzaghe. So Froch can let him punch himself out and ice him.

Calzaghe beat a lot of fighters with similar attributes to Froch and did so with relative easy (Bika and Kessler come to mind).

I think he would have frustrated and easily beat Froch

Calzaghe was levels above Groves. Nobody sparked him, nobody outworked him, and hes so much faster than Froch its a joke. Froch didn't spark old Kessler did he. He lost and struggled to a win, Calzaghe beat him clear. Froch always failed at the highest level.

Bhop was in his 40s. he landed the cleaner, harder shots, he just got outworked by calzaghes volume.
