Thurmans fought Garcia / PAC / Porter no hesitation , Thurman just knew Spence is a legit threat and wanted to at least give time for Spence to earn some stripes and go through the typical sh.it fighters go through before he gave him a shot

It’s like when Thurman crashed Pauliies Pist Fight wanting a fight. Paulies has fought a who’s who of Legit Big names so while if he’d have fought Thurman at the time he’s not going to let Thurman jump the line who didn’t have a name at all and let the Unknown Young Gun take his scalp and strap just to do Thurman a solid for his career.

But Thurman should be chomping at the bit for Spence who has 2 straps ( 1 of those which belonged to Rhurman who didn’t lose it in the Ring ) has had 2 Decent PPVs back to back / Looked Human against Porter and there’s still the unknown how he recovers mentally / Physically from flying out a f.ucking car and somehow avoiding Death or at least a Career ending Injury.

This is the time to Target Spence ( Sh.it if he won he might even get a Pac rematch ) & Buds Legit P4P but I doubt Thurman a Natural WW who has shown he’ll fight anybody is nt going to feel Confident that he can’t beat a guy who started at 135 and probably maxes out at WW

And why exactly should they give him a rematch. Your tone sound like somebody who is butt hurt (no offense, just choice of word). You probably picked him to KO Pac. You find reasons to credit the guy who lost the fight than the guy who actually won unanimously, the hate is obvious. 'Dangerously close to defeating Manny, what fight were u watching? He landed some good shots, I give that to him but I saw a guy put on his track shoes when he was on the verge of being stopped in round 9 or 10 whatever it was. We can see now that Pac a few years would have rag dolled him all over the ring. You don't talk all that junk, call him a 42 year old shot fighter with Trex arms and then get beat by him. Also, Pac may have won the battle but he took a hellacious asswhooping in the process. He ate and absorbed a tremendous amount of punches/punishment in that fight; Clean and flush ones too. It's the most I've ever seen him hit since the very first Erik Morales fight.

Moreover, had Thurman been at peak conditioning and timing he would have easily defeated Manny. However, that first round knockdown and that shot to the solar plexes in the 10th sealed the deal for Pac in a very close victory.

Everyone hating on Thurman for wanting the rematch, what is he supposed to do? It's his first loss. He wants to avenge it. Pacquiao is the biggest payday. What do you expect?

You'll notice another thread he's talking about Spence and Crawford so maybe that shut up the early responders mentioning those names in this thread.

Regardless I thinkThurman should get a good warm up fight before he back gets in with a top 5-10 guy. I'd be impressed if he came back jumping at Crawford, Spence, Pacquiao, Porter, or Garcia.

PAC only has maybe 1-2 fights max left in his boxing career. He’s not gonna waste it on a rematch with Thurman which will do lessed numbers than the first.

Thurman lost a razor thin decision in which he outlanded Pac in both power punches and total punches. Thurman also makes more money vs Pac than any other welter. Gee, why does he want a rematch?
