Yes sir, tbh is bug is killing otherwise healthy people as well. The only folks who seem to pass it with little grief are those who have zero medical issues and are in stellar physical condition.
Off the subject but since the Chinese seem to be releasing deadly viruses (other SARS, covid19, bird flu, etc) like a fat kid pops nowlaters the best thing we can all do is give up the bad food, eat non processed fresh ingredient diets with more plant based than animal and get out and spend a couple of hours a day pushing our hearts and sweating out toxins.
Folks have got to get I to better shape.

I lost an old friend last week to COVID-19, and I have several friends who’ve been impacted in some way by the pandemic. In all my years, I’ve never see a rash where I’ve known or heard of so many people being impacted this way by the flu. I have to believe that if we weren’t taking some active measures, this virus would be running rampant and killing many more.

Now there is some evidence that infected pregnant women are giivng birth prematurely and some babies are born infected. It's a low number of cases but still worrysome.

This guy sounds like a damn fool! People are literally dying from this shit! This is not a scoffing matter. This pandemic is very real and dangerous. Everyone needs to stay safe by staying at home and self-isolating. However, if it's essential for you to leave the house then avoid crowds and practice social distancing.

This virus has so many weird side effects that it's hard to keep up. It causes a load of neuropathies, affects people's hearts, livers, kidneys, etc. It really is quite the ride trying to figure out what this does.
It's very different to SARS coronavirus which was way more lethal but also much more limited in it's range of symptoms. Coronavirus is weird. If this turns out to have come from a Chinese lab I wouldn't be surprised, it's that weird a disease. It's as all-encompassing as syphilis or AIDS would be, which also cause so many symptoms it's hard to categorise them easily.

Your argument holds no weight. There are no preventive measures for the flu because it's not deadly enough to warrant them. COVID has literally put the whole world on hold.

If not a single country had taken such extreme preventive measures, of course it'd kill way more people than the flu.

12% of the infected have died in Italy; 3% in the US. Do you know what's the mortality rate of the flu? 0.1%.

Lets do the math for the year you mentioned and compare it to COVID so far:

Flu:
Total infected: 44.8 million
Death toll: 61,000

COVID (so far):
Total infected: 560,000
Death toll: 22,000

In other words, 2017-2018 flu affected 80 times more people than COVID (so far), yet had less the 3 times the death toll. Factor in the extreme preventive measures and the fact COVID killed 22,000 in 3 months, vs the flu's 61,000 in 12 months.

With no preventive measures in place, do you really think we'd end 2020 with less than 61,000 deaths? Come on man...

Most people have immunity to the flu widely available to them nowadays but don't underestimate it. Nothing beats a deadly flu, it's killed more people than anything in Earth bar malaria I believe.

That's what I always feared man in college I took a lot of international relations classes and the main discussion in a lot of them was nuclear proliferation but not much talk about biological warfare and this just goes to show we are severely ill prepared for it even if this isn't the case it just goes to show how much it can mess things up.

I'm not saying it was created could it possibly be yeah I wouldn't doubt it China be cloning anything they can, making lettuce out of plastic and doing all other types of ****. I'm not hating on the country I still respect the Chinese it's not their fault as a whole just some individuals whether it be the people running wet markets or some lab mess up like they say SARS was whatever it is I just hope it gets situated soon.

The CCP will allow stuff like this to happen with callous disregard as long as it exists. They have no concern for human life, they're by definition evil. Only concerned with power. They have to be stopped by their own people but the Chinese are too submissive. When are they going to crack eventually? Haven't they been subjugated enough?
