Refreshing honesty from Calzaghe. He would have dominated Froch if they ever met at SMW. When he left the division it actually meant Froch could have the run of fights and won the titles he did. Getting crushed by Joe would have set him back.
RJJ at SMW was insanely good he's pretty much the benchmark.Comment

Don't see that myself to be fair big fan of both but if you look what Watson did to Benn. I suspect Calzaghe outpoints him as long as he doesnt get drawn into the trenches.Comment

Problem is calzaghe obliged the trenches, particularly later in the fight. Those swarming attacks of pure slapsy stamina would have worked right into Benn’s game. Stoppage late rounds for The Dark DestroyerComment

yes I would say the three Brits who would have a fair chance include Benn, the others being Reid and Froch. But this doesnt detract from Joe being one of these top five British supermiddleweights, he is in that elite group for sure.Comment

to be fair, Joe had been honest 2 years previous to the actual fight, when he said facing Jones would be a dissappointment now he was shot to ****. He went back on it to promote the easywin fight, I guess.Refreshing honesty from Calzaghe. He would have dominated Froch if they ever met at SMW.
