Regardless of the demolition job, why would Wilder not take the third fight?

Why is this even being discussed?

If Mayweather beat Mcgregor I & II most people would NOT pay $90 for III.

If we consider that "most" or the people here didnt want to see Mayweather vs McGregor, and we saw what those numbers were.

Easy, because he's being offer more to step aside, fight a couple of stiffs and then the winner for twice as much.

It's simple, wilder and finkel been avoiding good level punchers in their prime throughout wilders career. Right now he can still fight for that world title against a light puncher, if he steps aside who is he guna fight instead? And what if Joshua beats Fury? Wilder hasn't got that many directions to turn that doesn't expose him to the hard hitting threats he's been ducking his whole career.

It's safer to just jump straight back in with Fury or he may never dare figgt for that belt again.

Wilder has all the natural ability in the world to defeat Tyson Fury. He proved that in their first fight with a damn near virtual knockout victory.

The only question is does he still have that same hunger, desire and will to win? In addition, how badly does he really want this fight? Is he willing to go through Hell and high water to get it?

Also, how much is he willing to sacrifice and commit himself in training in order to correct his mistakes and improve?

Only he knows the answers to these questions.

I'm more than happy to watch Fury retire Wilder before unifying against AJ. Why not?

He's worth tens of millions of dollars and you've got fangirls thinking he's just doing it for a check. No, he's doing it for glory. It takes a different breed to catch the beating he took and then turn right back around and ask for another fight.

I sense that some fighters are kind of embarrassed/irritated when Tyson Fury beats them 'Wladimir Kiltschko seems like he is still embarrassed where as Wilder? Seems to have not accepted that the better man/fighter beat him in Tyson Fury'.

Wilder seemed to enjoyed being the world heavyweight champion, and carried those belts around with him with very proudly 'Some fighters don't really value the belts that is why they vacate belts etc'.

I never said I had a problem with a third fight and I'm not talking about these forums. Most people I know in real life and most people I talk to that are fight fans aren't that interested in a third fight and would much rather see Fury move on. The fight was way too one sided to get hyped up for a third fight. That doesn't mean I won't watch though.
