Floyd will most likely be a great trainer.

I think Floyd could be a great trainer because of his ring IQ but he's got to learn to leave his ego and narcissistic attitude out of it. He could be a great promoter but as we see with Tank, he always has to take the opportunity to make everything about himself, doesn't let Tank talk, etc. As a trainer he to do just that- train. Stay out the spot light let your fighter be the star just like Roger did for him. I just don't see Floyd being able to do that. Seems like he'd take all the credit when his guy wins or place all the blame if he loses

Couldn’t agree more. I love Floyd as boxer but he can’t train. Floyd doesn’t even know how to talk.
Floyd can’t be a boxing analyst let alone train someone. He says the same thing (nothing that we don’t already know). I am not even faulting the guy. I think he has a case for being the 🐐 but he cannot train.

Look at Malignaggi - one of the best boxing analysts out there. His career was nothing compared to Floyd but he can dissect a fight or fighters way better than Floyd could ever dream. In fact, my opinion is that Malignaggi is the best boxer-turned-analyst. Roy is a close 2nd followed by Andre Ward.

Floyd’s daughter, who is dating some guy that I’m 65% sure sniffs paint fumes, just shanked someone. He knows how to instil discipline.

                We all know what’s required

As much as I like Floyd, Sr. Roger, and Jeff; Come on man you not about to take your ass to the gym every day to groom some nappy head MF that as soon as they get a girl friend and there first taste and start missing days you’ll be frustrated as hell. Then BET Awards and you can’t go because you have a guy fighting. Gone with that! A trainer put in more hours than a parent daily; real talk

Typical Mayweather, modest and humble as always. He never blows his own horn but instead lets others decide how good he is as a trainer.

True. He could be a great trainer too.

But I don't like his attitude tbh. I suspect he will seek total perfection from his fighters and throw them under the bus if they come up short and then no one will trust him again.
