So what does he mean by “partner and friend”? Did he come out the closet? Lol I must’ve missed it. I mean it wouldn’t be a shocker, he always dressed gay outside the ring.
I honestly took note of that wording too. Always liked Martinez, though I did sort of think he was secretly gay.

Lol your knees don't get better as you get older bro. I've had two open knee surgeries and they will never be the same. If I'm not mistaken Sergio's had two knee surgeries himself.

Based on what exactly? The 12th round?
Chavez got beat up like a pńata for 11 rounds! He didn’t win a single minute of any of those 11 rounds. Not one.

He hurts Sergio in the 12th (and couldn’t even finish him off) and suddenly a rematch is all you bloviated Neanderthals talk about.

What exactly has Chavez done in his career? He’s been beaten up every single time he faced elite competition. Every damn time!

No doubt man. Was it your patellar or the tendon? I ruptured both of my patella tendons on two different occasions. Even though it's been 10 years do you still feel it from time to time?

It was my patella in my left knee
Feel it all the fughin time , crazy
I call it patella , it’s supposed to be the smallest bone in the body , don’t quote me
I don’t even wanna research it cause it makes me sick lol
I jumped over a railing , less than a metre high , thought I hurt my ankle
Night of drinking , came home , fell asleep , woke up around 6 am in tears with my knee swollen and green
Still feel it , it amazes me

Sergio was great to watch. Back from 2009 to 2013 when boxing was fun. We had the Super Six in that time period too. Shlt, 2013 was great..He had a great prime in his mid-thirties which makes me want to take life more seriously. In all seriousness, I hope he stays retired. Dude lost to a cheat Margarito back in the day and after that, his only real loss was against Cotto as a broke dlck. The first Williams fight was incredible. Stay retired. Boxing sucks now anyway.

What the hell? That's random. A dude that got KO'd twice at 147, what weight does Sergio think he can fight at. Even still, I might take Lejarraga at this point

One thing good about the boxing stoppage is it gives Martinez more time to prepare.
